This was the easiest purchase I've ever made. I got a great deal on a new car and the process couldn't have gone any smoother. Evan Douglas was easy going, friendly, respectful, helpful and informative. Never felt pressured into anything. He executed the deal professionally and effciently. Gloria was also very friendly and nice to deal with. If you are going to purchase a toyota (which is the best brand of cars) I would HIGHLY recommend going to this dealership and working with Evan. Our experience was a good one - - no pressure - - questions were answered and help was always available. We liked our salesman - - glad for his long years of experience. We did not plan to buy a car so readily on that day - - it was our 40th year anniversary so we thought that it turned out to be a nice way to commemorate our years together. My husband had seen the Venza and had wanted me to look at it - - we originally were leaning toward a Camry or the Avalon - - after i saw the Venza i thought- - this is what I was looking for - - the perfect crossover vehicle for me. We like the Toyota brand for reliability. My Dad drove his 30 year old Toyota until he was no longer able to drive. We sold it to a friend and it is still running. Elvin Witcher was our salesperson - - we test drove the 2014 Venza and when we were deciding on the 2013 he took us out again for the test drive of that vehicle. We decided on the 2013 as it was our year and we liked the 0% financing - - that was the deal-maker for us. We returned later in the week to do the financing and met with Jason Pallas who took us thru all the ins and outs and the paperwork. We liked the computer where we could readily see the transactions and any changes that were made. Everything was explained and a second time if we had forgotten. We appreciated his patience and earnestness in getting things right with the pricing and the credits and the financing package. On a return visit to the showroom with my car to drop off paperwork, I was approached by Jeff (Benham)? who made himself available to answer a few technical questions on the Venza features. He answered all questions and was helpful. When I later returned to pick up my car from a service appointment i ran into him again and he spent time with me in the Venza going thru the phone operation and set-up - - - as I had forgotten some of the features and their operation. Even though I had not purchased the car from him as the salesperson he still took the time to help me out. I liked the efficiency of the receptionist and her phone manner - - i did tell her this - - just because we are customers in the showroom it does not mean that we aren't listening to what is going on with different staff and people. All in all we had a nice experience and could not believe that buying a car was not the nightmare that we had dreaded !! I guess the old days of car buying are finally over and that is a good thing. Oh and a nice touch were the refreshments offered and the restroom was clean !! More
My internet request for a quote got a very quick response. The sales consultant assured me that the dealership had the exact car that I was searching for, and the price was better than I expected. I found CJ Marella, the sales consultant, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I was not pressured into a decision. The service staff prepared the car for me while I met with the finance manager so that I could drive my new car home the same day. The finance manager, Gloria Fernandez, was very knowledgeable and pleasant as well. I’m looking forward to a complimentary manicure when I go for service on any Monday. This was, by far, the best car buying experience I've ever had. I highly recommend Toyota and Scion of Wallingford. More

I purchased my first, brand new Camry a few weeks ago. I didn't feel pressured to do so. I test drove a few used cars before asking to see the 2013 Camry. This is a long overdue review. I want to thank Dan and Nicole for their service, if it wasn't for them I probably would have turned in my lease to a different dealer. Every time I called and left a message with Nicole she got right back to me. If she wasn't sure how to answer a question or concern she researched it & got back to me with an answer. Nicole referred me to Dan when I came in to possibly buy out or lease a new Camry or even a Rav4. He was very patient and listened to what I wanted for features in the car. He let me test drive the Rav4 but helped convince me to stay with my new Camry which I love. I have gotten more compliments on my car than I thought I would. Dan helped me to be able to afford the car without going crazy and I am grateful for that. I appreciate the time Nicole and Dan both took to help me get my new car. I recently came in for a service and what was nice was that they both remembered me months later. It is nice to know as a consumer that there are people in sales who really care about their customers. I would strongly consider getting another car from this dealership based on the experience I had with Nicole and Dan. Toyota of Wallingford is fortunate to have them as employees. I would also like to add that anytime I have used the service department, everyone has been helpful and I have never a problem or complaint. More
