Toyota of Wallingford gave me a free tire promotion when I purchased my vehicle. I got 4 new tires and immediately started having problems with the car pulling to the left and vibrating at highway speeds. A I purchased my vehicle. I got 4 new tires and immediately started having problems with the car pulling to the left and vibrating at highway speeds. Alignment done and re-done, tires balanced and re-balanced, and they could not figure out what was wrong. 3 years later, still having the problems mentioned, I asked that they inspect my tires because they were skidding on wet pavement. They said my tires were fine (based on tread depth) and would not replace them, and recommended rotating the higher tread tires to the front. I went to another tire center where they identified that one front AND one back tire had broken belts. The tires were also wearing unevenly and losing air. The care was unsafe to drive. I got new tires and made a strong case to Toyota to reimburse me, since by our contract, they were supposed to provide free tires and they had failed in their inspection of my tires just 2 days earlier. I question the skill of their technicians, as they were unable to diagnose the initial problem (which they also caused). Toyota did agree to pay for the tires, but at no point offered an apology admitted any fault. Honestly, the apology was more important to me than the check. Prior to the tire incident...On my other vehicle, a 2005 Prius, Toyota reported that my brakes were 85% worn and needed immediate replacement. My husband decided to do the job himself and measured very accurately with a caliper and found that the old brakes still had well over half thickness remaining. He brought the brake pads with him to Toyota, and even in the face of mathematical logic, Toyota did not admit to having made a mistake. I believe they were very dishonestly trying to recommend work on the car that was not needed. I originally gave a generous 2 rating for friendliness and customer service, but after my last correspondence with Karen had to switch it (other employees have been very nice). She questioned and argued with me on every point, totally ignoring the facts of the situation. In the end, when backed into a corner and threatened with a letter to the BBB, Toyota did agree to do the right thing. However, if you want quality and honesty, do yourself a favor and service your car elsewhere. More

She made our experience stress-free and even our 4 year old son enjoyed the visit (the playscape and the stuffed dog he was given by the owner helped greatly).We hope that Toyota of Wallingford continues it's family style approach. Jack Parra is excellent in sales, and wish him continued success in his career, he makes you feel relaxed, and that any worries you may have, Jack will make sure to care of it! Paul Solomon and Sohail Butt, made sure ALL finances were in order, every "t" crossed and evey "i" dotted. They again worked with me too, to get the car that I kept thinking about over and over. Frank Mikolike has a great personality and welcomed me to the team/family. All four were responsible for a great transaction and a great CAR! They all made the experience, seamless, fun, easy and "no hassle". If you are thinking of buying or leasing a car, Toyota & Scion of Wallingford goes way beyond what you might expect from a car dealership. I consider myself lucky to have found them, and again they made the experience unforgettable. Definitely a "customer-service-driven" dealership, where the priority is you and the car. I originally went to the Toyota dealership in Milford and had an awful experience. I was referred to visit the Wallingford dealership because they are known for their excellent service and I was not dissapoi had an awful experience. I was referred to visit the Wallingford dealership because they are known for their excellent service and I was not dissapointed! I was helped by Dan Roberts and he was exceptional. I had spoken to his boss, who I cannot remember the name of to tag in this, but he was very kind as well, had informed Dan of my car of interest and Dan had it pulled up and ready for me. He was Funny, attentive, very knowledgeable and very reassuring that my choice wasn't going to be met with dissapointment. Upon the walk around of my vehicle, I noticed the car had scratches on it, and Dan personally made sure that it was taken care of along with other things I wanted addressed, he took care of it without hesitation. I would recommend anyone who goes to this dealership to request him. Gloria had helped me with my financing, answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently. She made herself approachable and very easy to talk to, which was a nice change considering it seems like normally when you meet people who work in financing are miserable. But she is a very happy person. The only put off issue I had with my experience was with this man named Frank who is not the same man listed above, he is supposedly the head sales associate. I had never met him before and he approached me with such a rude attitude and honestly spoke out of turn to me. When I turned to him for an explanation for his tone he shook me off. He then began to speak to Dan in such a deragatory, condesending manner that I did not appreciate. I honestly do not know how he works in sales and it seemed that by the scene that he made for quite a while, that no one in the building seemed surprised by his behavor and kind of just shook it up to thats just how he is. If I ever need any help with my vehicle in the future and I walk in and that man is the only one there, I will just wait until anyone else is available. Other than that, I will make sure to recommend this dealership to anyone. :) More
