I bought a previous car from this dealership and was very happy with the sales and service, but thought I'd try out a wholesale club membership discount program that used a different dealership. The next day after that experience, I came back to Toyota of Wallingford and was greeted by Frank. Immediately I felt the difference. I felt like a VIP. Frank was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable about the car. No pressure tactics, just a genuine interest in meeting my needs and making the best match of vehicle, owner, and options. After we agreed on the sale, Gloria Fernandez handled the paperwork. How she keeps track of so many different things all at once, I'll never know. She is a wonder--and a very pleasant one at that. I drove my new car home that day. All in all, a very excellent experience. I would definitely recommend this dealership, and especially Frank and Gloria, to anyone. Oh, did I mention that the final price was better than the discount one? More

I hunted for a Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ at any dealership that I could find with one in stock up to 100 miles from home. In the end I ended up at Toyota of Wallingford. A dealership where my family has now purchase 7+ vehicles. We had always worked with Rex Simmons in the past but he was no longer there. I contacted them initially by email and exchanged a few with Ron, the internet sales manager. I arranged a test drive of the only FR-S they had in stock which was an automatic. When I arrived Ron introduced me to Mike. Mike was very easy to deal with and a real pleasure after my recent experiences with several dealerships in the state. Scion's Pure Price made the buying process just that much easier. I knew I was getting the best(only) price I could get on a new FR-S and I also was able to handle my trade knowing the dealer was making money on the sale price of the new car. They initially offered me more than any other dealership for my 2006 Jeep Wrangler which was a pleasant surprise though I felt the vehicle was worth more as a trade. Ultimately they showed some flexibility here and reached a number I was okay with. From there I worked briefly with Frank to confirm the details of the vehicle I was purchasing and we arrived at the final numbers. Then it was my pleasure to work with Paul on Financing. I had filled out a credit application during an earlier visit and all the necessary work was already done. He didn't offer me GAP insurance as I anticipated which was good because I was starting with equity in the vehicle and I would be ahead of depreciation from the beginning. He mentioned this as the reason why he didn't ask. I actually ended up with a lower interest rate and a lower monthly payment than even my extensive research/calculating led me to expect. This was the 7th or 8th vehicle purchased at this dealership by my family and it will not be the last. More

While my last buying experience (8 years ago) was not the greatest, I ended up purchasing that car from Middletown Toyot, this experience was great. I worked with the internet team of Ron Jackson, Sam Gettings, and Celina Mason and they made what I typically refer to as a visit to the dentist, almost fun. Most of my interaction was with Sam and Celina. They were both very friendly and fun to work with. I normally do my research and visit multiple dealers to get pricing. However, this time I never left the Wallingford facility. Celina worked with me to price the new car and my trade so that we both were satisified with the deal with minimal effort (a little more than an hour). I went to the dealership knowing what I wanted to pay, without trying to flease the dealership and with a little hagling teh deal was done. This was a welcomed surprised given my last experience eight years earlier. I would strongly recommend working with the internet team to negotiate a deal or at a minimum get a comparative price for the vehicle that you are purchasing. I would also strongly recommend the Wallingford Toyota service department. I have been using them for all 13 years that I had a Toyota vehicle and plan on continuing the relationship. Bob and Katie are very friendly and extremely helpful. I have never had any issues with the service that was performed on my cars and the cost is fair, not something that you expect from a car dealership. More

My wife and I were interested in getting rid of our 2WD SUV - brought all the way from the west coast where people actually buy 2WD SUVs - and found a great lease offer from TMS. We looked at the reviews for dealers in the CT area and liked what we read about Toyota of Wallingford. Bill and the team worked with our budget, gave us a great trade-in value for a vehicle that would have been very difficult to sell in the northeast, and had us in a 2012 corolla in no time. My wife and I never felt pressured even when we needed time to think about the terms of the offer. I came in nervous about dealing with stereotypical car sales folk, but felt admittedly silly after our great experience with Bill. Toyotas are great vehicles that can more or less sell themselves. What sets Bill and the team at Wallingford Toyota apart is their ability to ensure each unique customer's needs are met. It was a pleasure to work with a family-owned dealership that has worked hard to earn its reputation of excellence. More

When I was ready to make the purchase Dan took me on an extended test drive. His knowledge of all features on the car especially the technology has helped me to utilize the features fully. More
