Here is why I won’t buy my next car or get my car serviced any place else! In the spring of 2014 I bought a 2015 CX-5 and had a really nice buying experience with Shaun McCray. He asked the right questions, listened carefully and found exactly what I needed with no hassle, no pressure and no problems. The last time I bought a car, the sales person focused on the next customer(s) walking in and ignored me. Not Shaun. He was attentive and made sure everything went smoothly and I left happy. He has to be the best listener of anyone I have ever met. Then in fall of 2014, I saw a gorgeous white 2012 Mazda Miata with a retractable top. I sent Shaun a picture text message asking him to let me know if he finds one. I had no idea how rare these are. Nine months later, Shaun contacted me saying he had found it! I of course went in to look at the Miata and it was pristine -- low miles and in beautiful shape. From start to finish, Shaun McCray made the entire buying process very pleasant for both my CX-5 and Miata. He is why I won’t ever buy a car from any other dealership. The service department is wonderful too. Getting an appointment easy and I know the work will be done properly, quickly and with the right parts. El and Tony are especially helpful in keeping my cars in shape and I will not have to get the work redone later. And, I cannot forget Greg, the "Ambassador" of the service department. He's always there to greet me, gets my car taken care of and arranges for me to get a LYFT home if need be. When Debby the receptionist answers my call, it is like talking to your favorite friend. She's cheerful and friendly. Another plus -- Their coffee is better than my Nespresso machine so I don't mind waiting for my car to be serviced. Kathy M., a repeat customer. More
They charge you way too much! I have been a loyal customer at Tustin Mazda. I brought my CX9 in every 6 months for service and if something was wrong, I would bring it in there too I have been a loyal customer at Tustin Mazda. My last service was three months ago and even though I had noticed nothing out of the ordinary, I got a huge bill (almost $1600). It didn't feel too good, but they were nice, telling me that the car needs a big one like that every few years. Ok, I thought... Now a few days ago my window would not go up or down anymore. Stuck in-between and I brought my car in. They called me later in the morning telling me that the motor of the window needed replacement and the bill would be $520. I went online and made a few calls, because it felt like too much. Basically any other place I called, told me they could order the real Mazda part (pricey $198) and install it within the hour for less than $300. I confronted Mazda and they told me that they would charge me $248 for the same part en twice the labour. I understand they offer 'service' and are on a prime location......but really? I call that a rip off! More

My wife and I planned to get an SUV in October when we moved to MD and trade in my current lease since people normally take the Metro over there. Of course I did not want to waste Jean's time because as a sales representative his prerogative is to sell cars. He knew from the beginning our situation and I explained to him that the reason we couldn't go home that day with the CX-5 was because we still needed two cars while in CA and we did not want to pay two monthly payments. Jean understood and was not pushy at all and continued with the test drive. My wife and I really wanted the SUV that day because it would be great for my wife for the summer since it had A/C and her current car's A/C did not work. After talking with his boss Toni, Jean brought us an offer we could not refuse. We no money down he was able to get us into the SUV for the same monthly I am paying now for my current lease with better upgrades and wrote us a check for my wife's car enough to pay for the rest of my current monthly payments with cash left over. The moral of this review is to not scare you in thinking that if you go in for a test drive you will leave with a car, but instead to show you if you go to Mazda Tustin, specifically to Jean, with a dream and an issue, you will leave with your issue resolved and your dream granted. As cheesy as that sounds, we left the dealer no cash out of pocket with the same monthly payment and we got a new car out of it. Jean is the man! More

I own a 2011 Mazda CX9 Touring AWD, a couple of weeks ago the transfer case failed leaving me stranded. While I am disappointed that this happened, and Mazda roadside assistance was less than stellar - ago the transfer case failed leaving me stranded. While I am disappointed that this happened, and Mazda roadside assistance was less than stellar - I have to give recognition to Sarah in service who made an unfortunate situation much more tolerable. Her customer service was superb and her attitude was always positive and helpful. It took almost two weeks to repair my car, but the fault was not with the dealership, once they received the part from Mazda, the repair was done quickly. I felt as though Sarah did everything in her power to get my car fixed and returned to me. Ii could not give my experience five stars - because after all my 2 year old car died and left me stranded on the side of the road and it took Mazda's roadside assistance way too long to arrive (over two hours). But this is a Mazda issue and not an issue with the dealership. Sarah actually sent the cashier to pick me up and take me to work and they took care of getting the car to the dealership without me. More
