I brought my car in to get a part replaced and only a Nissan dealership could do it. They replaced it in a timely manner and cost was expected. Once I started driving the car, I noticed it was making a severe rattling noise upon acceleration. I scheduled another service appointment with Nissan to get it looked at once more. The appointment was for 10 days out due to the holidays. I chose to wait since they were the ones to do the repair. The day of my appointment, they call me and tell me because the appointment is at 3pm they won’t be able to do anything for me because their technicians leave at 4pm. I was confused why in that hour they couldn’t at least look at it. They offered me options; no drop off, no other days, they just kept saying they won’t have time. I canceled the appointment and took my car to Firestone. The part Nissan replaced was missing a gasket. While my initial service was good, the follow up communication with no effort on Nissan’s part and gasket situation are the reasons for my review. More
