I went in for an oil change and a recall for a ECM the oil change was done and apparently the computer was down and they could not do my recalls on the ECM so they said once the computer is up and back on oil change was done and apparently the computer was down and they could not do my recalls on the ECM so they said once the computer is up and back online they would call me so I could bring in my car so they can fix an ECM I haven’t gotten a call yet my appointment was back in May 3 so I’m still waiting for the call More

Good morning, The head of the service department has now told me twice that my car would not be done before end of day, when it is always done earlier. I understand the approach of protecting yourself “just told me twice that my car would not be done before end of day, when it is always done earlier. I understand the approach of protecting yourself “just in case” but imagine if having optimism at the start of the interaction could change the customer service relational quality? Yes, be realistic (“it could take more time”) and eager to put good customer service first (“we are committed to being early and appreciate having you today.”) I did get this at the end, however this was after the initial meeting with him where he indicated that I would have to leave my car with him until end of day (did not sound like a choice) and this was after being told on the phone that it would be two hours only. What this gentleman does not know is the optimism and kindness could have helped for this full-time working mother to have a bit of hope that she could see her 2 year old daughter before bath time. Instead, the negativity and pessimism created this initial sense of disappointment which resulted in a very negative experience. Customer service should entail the above mentioned components, otherwise I am ok with going to another location. Thank you for reading. Dr. Kaily Clark More
