We decided it was time to get a reliable car and something we could count on. My son worked at Valley Honda as a porter and I was hoping to extend my appreciation to Valley Honda in some small way. So I contacted Nick Poole at Valley Honda and explained our situation. Nick immediately responded with options that made perfect sense. We went thru the list of available cars and found the perfect car for our situation. Nick met us at the door and gave us his undivided attention and was very patient. It had been a while since we purchased a car so I truly appreciated his patience. In a short period of time we found the car we wanted, went for a test drive and without wasting any time Nick began the process of purchasing. Once we got rolling the purchase went quickly and smoothly. Before I knew it I was on my way home with an absolutely sparkling clean car inside and out. I was losing confidence fast in any ability to put any trust into a dealerships or salesman I visited. Bus this man was different. He has a smile in his voice when he picked up the phone and was patient and was able to answer all my initial questions pertaining the vehicle I had called about which was actually the SOLE reason I decided to make the drive from Orland Park. The vehicle we were looking at was under 7,000 but with the way we were treated, and the patience and understanding he displayed, you would have thought we were buying the most expensive vehicle on the lot. In short, we had a great experience - and I am not given to hyperbole. This is a pro dealership, and our salesperson (Nikki Anderson) made the experience of buying a car...gulp...actually enjoyable. My own standard of a fair/good deal when it comes to buying a car is this: Would I have paid more, and would the dealer accepted less? I like to think the answer in both cases would be "yes". Also, it's worth noting that aside from service, price and general sales acumen, Valley pays attention to small details that other local Honda dealers seem to take for granted. To wit, the comfort (and creature comforts) of it's waiting lounge, the cleanliness of its kids' "Play Room" and the quality of their coffee (important when your spending hours on end in the process of making a deal). Nice job, Valley Honda, and nice job Nikki. We will be recommending this dealership to others. More
