Our 2012 Honda Civic did not start on the morning of 1/24/14. I cld Jab Rahman, the gentleman we purchased our new car from. Being very concerned and willing to help, he asked just a couple questions 1/24/14. I cld Jab Rahman, the gentleman we purchased our new car from. Being very concerned and willing to help, he asked just a couple questions and then stated that he would send out one of his service men to see if it was the battery. He apologized and said he would be happy to help us out and do whatever it took to have the car working again. The service man, Terry Altman, was to be back to the dealership within 10 minutes and Jab would then send him out immediately. Within minutes Terry was at our home, he jumped the battery and it popped right off. Terry was very nice and so easy to work with. They both were very informative on what we should do now that they jumped the battery and how I should drive it for at least 20 minutes in order for the battery to take the charge in these below zero weather conditions. I was so totally thrilled that it was such an easy process, taking less then 30 minutes for the entire process! Excellent service! And Jab also sent an email shortly after the car was in service again, making sure everything was OK. What amazed me, we bought the car from him 15 months ago. At that time, we lived 100 miles from Aurora, but chose to come to Valley Honda to purchase our vehicle. And, he remembered us! He remembered that we were in town because of a Dr's apt and that we were purchasing a car for our daughter Taylor. He remembered it like it was yesterday! Now that is great customer service. And his email also stated, my job begins after I sell the car! Wow! That is super!! Thank-you Jab and thank-you Terry! You are excellent and Valley Honda should be thrilled that you are both employees of there's. I would highly recommend Valley Honda! More

I first went to Valley Honda with a friend of mine to just look at the cars in the showroom. My experience was so positive I brought my husband to the dealership the next day. We worked with Alicia Machen throughout our search. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She was accommodating to both my husband and I, but also my two kids. I have bought several cars in my lifetime and I can honestly say that Alicia and Valley Honda made the car buying experience the best I've ever had. It was obvious she cared more for me as a person and making sure my needs were met than the sale of a car. We must have stopped by the dealership at least 6 times before purchasing due to a hold up with insurance. However, each and every time she made herself available and again worked to meet our needs. She made a traumatic time in my life very pleasant. I would highly recommend Alicia Machen to anyone looking to buy a car...she is absolutely wonderful!!! I've had my new Pilot for about a week and I couldn't be more pleased. More
Valley Honda is a great dealership, but this review is about sales consultant Mario Morath in particular: I recently had the pleasure of buying a new Honda from Mario Morath at Valley Honda in Aurora. about sales consultant Mario Morath in particular: I recently had the pleasure of buying a new Honda from Mario Morath at Valley Honda in Aurora. In short, Mario was a “straight shooter” all the way (not at all what I was expecting from earlier car buying adventures). He seems to be one of a “new breed” of sales rep who knows that you can, and should have, done significant internet research, know what you want, know how to contact several other dealers, and know what you should expect to finally pay. In this case, Mario first heard from me via email, promptly answered every question, and gave me a binding quote by email without any evasion or insistence that I “come down” so that his sales manager could lean on me. I eventually made two visits to the dealership. The first so that my wife could see actual exterior and interior vehicle colors, and a final visit to sign papers and take delivery. Everything else was handled by phone and email. Throughout, there were NO surprises, or mismatches between what I thought I had been told, and what Mario thought he said -- Mario is very good at clear communication, and it smoothed the whole process. Mario gave me a competitive quote right off the bat, which wasn’t undercut until the day before we took delivery, and then only by a third phone call from somebody’s “manager” who beat him by $200. By then, Mario had built enough trust with me that I wasn’t interested. I found out that Mario is one of the top producers for Valley, which itself is the top producer in the Midwest for Honda – no surprises there! People appreciate clear talk, reasonable prices and fair dealing. We’ll be back to Valley Honda looking for Mario next time we need a car! Bought a new fit from Brian Vogel. It was the first place I went and I should have just stayed there. Other dealers were very sneaky and underhanded and discriminated based on age. (I know they have to verify that you are 18 or older but they kept ignoring us or implying we couldn't afford the car.) Valley Honda was different. The purchase took almost a month because I was getting a new job but when I did go to buy, they were able to secure the same deal, which was what I wanted. I put price as "great" for that reason but let's all be honest here - no new car is really a "great" price - they're all expensive! Still, the new fit runs great, it's really basic I didn't add anything but Brian did explain all the things you could add. He doesn't shove it down your throat, which is a plus. I also dealt with Brandon briefly. He was okay but I didn't really get to know him. I'm sure he's good to work with too. More
