Bill Terhorst is a phenomenal Honda Sales professional.    Bill is very friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and upfront.  I bought a 2008 Honda Odyssey Touring Certified in great condition at a professional.    Bill is very friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and upfront.  I bought a 2008 Honda Odyssey Touring Certified in great condition at a reasonable price.  It was such a pleasure working with Bill as he treated my family and I with respect.  He was very relatable and had high moral values --- no sleazy sales tactics.   I drove about 1+ hours from the Chicago northshore suburbs and it was well worth it.      I called Bill, he checked if the vehicle was still available.  I said I was leaving and it'd take me a while to get there.  I told him I was very serious about the car and he promised he'd have the keys ready for me when I arrived.  Bill was willing to negotiate and did so in a friendly non-pressuring manner and ended up getting for a great deal... much less than the Edmunds bluebook price.   He was upfront about everything. I would definitely buy from him again and recommend my friends to use him and Valley Honda.   Valley Honda is probably one of the best Honda dealers in the Chicago area.   Big waiting room, tons of knowledgeable and friendly staff, huge waiting room with stuff for the family and kiddos.  I've been to 7 different dealers looking for a used Odyssey and others didn't have the selection or good customer service.  Well worth the drive for having such a great experience. Bill Sexton, the Used Car Manager, also deserves kudos. In dealing with Valley Honda I appreciated the straight-forwardness of Brian Edwards, our sales associate, in giving us the price of the vehicle we were buying via e-mail about 12 days before we m straight-forwardness of Brian Edwards, our sales associate, in giving us the price of the vehicle we were buying via e-mail about 12 days before we made the purchase along with exact cost of the doc fees and tags and arranging our extended test drive. The exact vehicle we were interested in purchasing was cleaned up and waiting for us to arrive to take it on our day-long test drive. Other area Honda dealers were by far not as up front about what they were willing to sell the exact same vehicle (down to the exact MSRP) for. The only reason I gave a "4" instead of "5" on price was because we were given $868 below the Kelly Blue Book trade-in value for our trade which almost sunk the deal for the new car--we agreed to it because we were pleased with the price on the new vehicle we were purchasing. Also, the finance manager, Stephanie, was patient and thorough even though the dealership was very busy and people were waiting to get to the finance office to complete their sales. Stephanie also offered us a "coupon" that gave us a couple nice little "goodies" to go along with our purchase. So, overall a very positive experience with Valley Honda and I would recommend others to seek out Brian Edwards should they be looking to buy a new Honda or something from their pre-owned inventory. First of all, if you go to Valley Honda you need to ask for Brad Koren. This was my first time buying a new car (I ended up leasing it actually, but it's still a new one!), and Brad was more than amazin for Brad Koren. This was my first time buying a new car (I ended up leasing it actually, but it's still a new one!), and Brad was more than amazing. He's not one of those "pushy" traditional salesmen you'd expect from car dealers. Not once did I feel pressured into buying anything. I had been to a Hyundai dealership prior to this, and the salesmen there WERE pushy (they fit the bill of "car dealers"), but the experience I had with Brad at Valley Honda was entirely different. Also, I was impressed with Brad's knowledge of the cars. I'll admit: I went in there knowing I wanted an Accord Coupe (have you SEEN that car??), but I also wanted to explore my options. I tried to throw every question I had at Brad, but he always had an answer for me, on everything from car features to performance to financing. And it was honest as well, I never felt like he was saying what I wanted to hear, but actually being upfront about it so I was more informed. Overall, Brad was a down-to-earth, incredibly honest and upfront guy that guided me through the process of getting the car I wanted. Not only would I trust him in the future with buying new cars, but I'll also recommend him to others without hesitation. From dealing with him multiple times (or rather, him dealing me haha), I can honestly say that he's a good dude and will help you in every way he can. The whole experience was excellent. I had just left Honda in Joliet when Joe Barsalona called me in reply to my internet search. Everything he said and his manner convinced me that he was serious about earni in Joliet when Joe Barsalona called me in reply to my internet search. Everything he said and his manner convinced me that he was serious about earning my business and that he would work hard for it. I was not treated that way at the Joliet Honda. He offered me incentives that I wasn't told about at the other place and he was never pushy. I requested quotes from three different dealerships and let them all know it. Valley Honda's offer was the lowest to begin with. They were all willing to beat their competitors' prices and I was very pleased with the deals I was offered. Joe even called back only hours before I was scheduled to meet there and told me about another incentive announced that morning which would be added to my offer. In the end, I chose Valley Honda beacuse of the good impression I got during that first call from Joe. I need to like the whole dealership and trust that, if I have any issues in future, I will be treated as a valued customer and will be well taken care of. I'm really happy with the deal that I got and it never felt like a hassel. This is my third Accord and I'm glad that I can have as good of an experience with the dealership as I've always had with the cars. More
