Very good prices, friendly and helpful salesman After a friend purchased a new vehicle a year ago and finding Vernon online I chose to purchase a vehicle from them. I was dealing with Robert Hammond After a friend purchased a new vehicle a year ago and finding Vernon online I chose to purchase a vehicle from them. I was dealing with Robert Hammond and he was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the trucks I was looking at. I ended up purchasing a 2015 F350 platinum. I was very leary of purchasing a truck I never saw in person (as I live 1400 miles away), but Robert sent me pictures of everything that was wrong with it and ensured me of the quality. (I looked at a few vehicles over about a 3 month period before deciding) Upon arriving at the dealership Robert met me in the parking lot with the keys and we went for a test drive and I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. A few minor issues with the truck and I had some concerns after driving it home, but both Robert and Ashley Hernandez with customer relations worked with me and everything was handled the same day. Paperwork was slow to resolve, but with Ford incentives expiring next week, I can believe they are really busy. Everybody was friendly. Best new vehicle buy ever. More

Product was as described, but some significant hiccups I came from a significant distance to the dealership. The transportation arrangements were very helpful. That is about the end of the positive. Balls were dropped from that point forward on the business end of the transaction starting with the dealership not being able to verify funds in my checking account (I paid cash for the vehicle). No mention of this requirement occurred prior to my travel to the dealer, as I could have easily brought a cashier's check with me. We were able to make alternative arrangements, as I was faced with abandoning the deal, flying back home and returning, or staying the weekend in Vernon, All the options aforementioned meant wasted time and money. Necessary arrangements were made and I was able to take delivery and go home. From that point, the necessary paperwork apparently got buried in a pile and did not get sent out to me until after numerous phone calls requesting it. After considerable time and effort, the paperwork arrived and the deal was finally closed. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant. Significant effort to improve communication, customer service, attention to detail, and follow through would make a difference here. More

I got a Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn Megacab with an Aisin Transmission and it's a towing machine! Vernon Auto Group searched high and low for this truck that had to be exactly how I wanted it; they exceeded my expectations. I will recommend all my big truck fanatics to Vernon Auto Group. More

I had several problems but most were resolved professionally. The one (and most costly) problem I encountered was obtaining a service record from the Vernon service department before making my purchase. I was told multiple times that the vehicle was in great shape with no broken parts. My door handle on the drivers side was broke which I was not made aware of before purchasing but it is clearly on the service report which I was able to obtain after calling the service department several times after purchasing. The service report said "l door handle loose, denied replacement". It was more than loose but broken and $700 to repair because the door panel needed replacement. This would have been nice to know before buying a vehicle for 42k. Ideally this is my own fault and should have not had the vehicle delivered to me (7 hrs away) without viewing the service report to inquire more about the broken door handle. I did have two friends that bought used trucks from Vernon with great experiences. More
