The car only came with one key and the keyless entry on the key fob wasn't working. I explained this to Lesley and without hesitation he said Vernon would cover the cost to get a new key made. I contacted Deiter Brannon and told him what vehicle I was interested in, but I was working 5 hours away. He told me everything I needed to know about the vehicle and gave me a price for my trade in. During this phone call, another customer was interested in the vehicle and was currently looking at it. Deiter helped to fast track the financing and I put a deposit down minutes later. I was able to pick the truck up a few days later. If it wasn't for Deiter, I probably wouldn't be driving the truck of my dreams today. We'll worth the 800 mile drive I found Vernon Auto Group on the internet after trying to find some specs on a used vehicle I found in Bossier City, LA. I was surprised to see the Ve I found Vernon Auto Group on the internet after trying to find some specs on a used vehicle I found in Bossier City, LA. I was surprised to see the Vernon Auto Group price of a new truck was cheaper than the price of the used truck I found here. My first communication was inquiring about a checking if they would provide transportation from the airport. Dave Townson quickly responded to my email. We exchanged several emails through out the next week. Every question I had, Dave responded back with delay. He truly made me feel like I was his only customer. I filled out an information sheet on my vehicle I wanted to trade in and was provided a price they would give me. Everything was worked out through emails and a couple of phone calls. Although it was nearly a 400 mile trip to Vernon, it was well worth it. The dealership was easy to find and once I got there all my fears were put at ease. Everything went great. Dave acted more like an old friend that a salesman. We were lucky to arrive during their employee meal and was asked to join in with the feast. Food was great. My new vehicle was spotless and full of gas (36 gallon tank). Dave guided me through the features of the truck and even help me sync my phone. The paperwork was flawlessly prepared and although there was a lot of it, it was done in no time. After a couple more handshakes, we were on way way back home in our brand new Ford F150 Limited. The first was trading in my truck, and getting the new F150. Then I changed my mind at the last minute, and decided to keep my trade, and buy the new truck. They didnt skip a beat, or try any tricks to raise the price. They sent over my paperwork via email, including an overnight shipping label to send it back. Internet buying After searching the internet for more than a year for that "one" vehicle I came across a 2008 Ford F-350 being offered by Vernon Auto Group. I initially inquired about the vehicle through e-bay at which point I was put into contact with Lesley Willie. He was very low pressure and promptly got me the information I was looking for. A week or two passed and I kept coming back to this truck. Being from Minnesota and so far away from the dealership I was more than a little hesitant to buy a truck half way across the country. What finally put me over the edge as far as actually buying the truck was when Lesley took pictures of every little defect the truck had. He set my mind at ease and at that point I decided to move ahead with the purchase. I flew into Wichita Falls where they had a driver waiting for me. 45 minutes later we were back at the dealership and I was able to inspect and drive the truck in person, of course there were no surprises thanks to Lesley's detail. In fact, It was better than I had imagined. The test drive and paperwork took less than an hour and I was on the road back to MN in no time.
