There also was a software update that was waiting on Verizon towers to be upgraded that effected navigation and Carplay in many cars. Yes it has nothing to do with the Verizon. It's damage to the antenna (seen by the Volkswagen dealer in went to in the suburbs) that wasn't disclosed to me. I was told it was Verizon when I bought the car. This issue was there when I bought the car and wasn't addressed.
