Professionals at the top of their game! Have you ever bought a car, been super excited about it and a couple of days later had the gut sinking feeling of "buyers remorse"? BUT NOT at Walker Ford! This company is everything you could hope for when buying a new vehicle. The lot is huuuge and has at least one of everything in every color. If you want a new car or one that someone has driven and cared for before you, they have the perfect options. If you like to take your time and browse through on your own they encourage it. If you're like me and you know what you want they have a full crew of guys and girls who know their stuff. Ours is a Ford family. We've been loyal to the brand since it saved my life in a nasty accident that nobody should have walked away from. My Explorer rolled several times, landing on the roof. The emergency workers had to use the jaws of life to cut me out of my seatbelt while I was hanging upside down. The emergency workers told me that the fact that the frame was so solid and well designed was the only reason I survived. The replacement vehicle was a no brainer... We were getting another Ford. There are no shortage of dealers in the Clearwater area and we went to the one we had most often heard the advertising campaigns from. I'm not going to give the name. One; because it's not necessary but two; they change the name so often it will probably be different by the time you read this review. Hmmmm, I wonder why the name changes so frequently??? We bought from them and it took less then a day to feel like we had been talked into a raw deal. All of those friendly sales people and "invested" managers were not so easy to reach when we had concerns after the purchase. A friend recommended Walker Ford when the time came for service. She said they were the best in the entire area for service and sales so we decided to go there for our first service call. I could not believe how courteous and professional the service team was. The lounge was comfy and the invoice at the end was a pleasant surprise! That's it, when we were ready to buy again the only stop would be Walker Ford. After two years of using Walker for our service we were ready to buy a new Explorer. What else would I buy? The Sales Manager, Tracy Affrunti was amazing. I was in and out of there in under an hour. A day after taking delivery I had a couple of questions and wanted some upgrades done. Tracy and her Accessories Manager, Michelle were all over it! The additional trim I wanted was ordered and a custom strip was applied to the rear bumper to keep the paint from scratching while I moved equipment in and out of the back cargo area. The installation was going to take a couple of hours so Tracy made arrangements for me to have a loaner vehicle at no additional charge. Really nice work done on the back bumper covering and all the accessories I asked for installed in record time. On top of all that they had the Explorer detailed for me. Even the inside handles were fingerprint free and shiny!! The test of a good company is how they handle the situation if a concern or problem pops up. This company truly stands behind their reputation as a top notch provider of Ford vehicles. We could not have made a better decision than buying our new ride from Walker. If you want the best selection and a fair price with an honest, professional sales team do yourself a favor and look for Tracy at Walker Ford. Jay was extremely helpful and found exactly what I wanted I owned a 2005 Ford Conversion Van that was my baby which was purchased at Walker Ford new in 2004. When it finally appeared to be ready to retire, it I owned a 2005 Ford Conversion Van that was my baby which was purchased at Walker Ford new in 2004. When it finally appeared to be ready to retire, it was towed to Walker Ford...first to see if able to repair then to decide to do same or look at Ford autos. A little side note I was ill and the van sat in the lot for quite some time while I recovered. When I was able I returned, decided to move on but with a used auto. Jay Wright was so helpful and found me an used auto (not a Ford) which matched my wants and needs and I left there with my "new" auto. A delight to work with. More
