I have been a Walser cust for over a decade and I brought my mini-van in for what turned out to be a very simple coil wire that had been cut (from an animal I am guessing). It was in need of a butt-splice co my mini-van in for what turned out to be a very simple coil wire that had been cut (from an animal I am guessing). It was in need of a butt-splice connector (think speaker wire connector). My extended plus care bumper to bumper warranty covers wiring (because clause 7 of the warranty contract does not limit wiring issues for any thing other than speaker wires and spark plug wires which I don't have). They refused to cover the cost of the repair. My wire repair which would have been $10 at most for the connectors cost me $50 - And the charge for labor brought the entire repair to just under $400. I am not sure how these people sleep at night. I have purchased my vehicle there, my wife's vehicle, my son's vehicle, and 2 daughter's vehicles. Not to mention all the times I have referred them to non-family buyers (without compensation I might add). To Sum: 20 minutes worth of work and 10 dollars of parts turned into just under $400 without their ins paying for it or any discounts what so ever. This on principle will be the last vehicle we buy from them and there will be no more referrals. And I will be happy to share my experience with their service departments lack of customer service and over charging. Bottom line: loyalty means nothing to them. When you shop there it will help you keep perspective if you picture all of them with pirate outfits. Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention the video of the repair diagnostic was very helpful as it showed exactly what the issue was. If I sent you the video, you wouldn't believe how simple this was. Bottom line this service over charge is why most people don't trust car dealerships and never have. It would be interesting to find out how many other people have been over charged. More
