In a world where technology connects you to anyone, anywhere on the planet, I'm amazed at the warmth and heart-felt experience you can have (as well as a sense of feeling like you're among family) at a place 2,000 miles away from home. Mr. Glen Thackeray and Isaid Barragan, were among the best and most congenial people I have dealt with thru this medium called "the internet". From our initial telephone conversations to our personal meeting at Walter's months later, I truly felt like I was among my own family!!! Upon arriving at the airport I was greeted by a pleasant, respectful and helpful gentleman , from Walter's Automotive, whose name has escaped me. This was my first time in California! The gentleman that drove me from the airport to Walter's gave me a Guided-Tour during our trip. I arrived at Riverside later in the evening than I had expected do to a frustrating delayed flight. However, upon walking in at Walter's I could feel a sense of peace in the atmosphere as Glen and Isaid demonstrated joy and enthusiasm regardless of the time. The feeling was very much reminiscent of when, after several years, we would walk in really late at grandma's house or at an uncles house (it didn't matter what time it was) they always welcomed us with joy and gladness, and were happy to see us! Mr. Glen Thackeray and Isaid, expedited the paperwork with amazing alacrity. After Isaid learned that I was extremely hungry, he offered to take me out to eat ( for which he paid ) and even took me to my hotel so that I could rest and conveniently pick up my vehicle the next morning. Then I would be refreshed and ready to tackle my over 2,000 mile trip home! More

After many visits to differaent Mercedes Benz dealerships in Los Angeles and not finding the right vehicle, I ended at Walter's Automotive in Riverside California. Just for your information. Riverside is around 70 miles away from my home. I was greeted by Mike Marotta who made us feel comfortable at the showroom and he showed us around and guided us through the available cars there. I must say that this was my best car shopping experience ever. The salesman was very informative and he was answering every question of ours patiently. I ended up buying a beautiful CPO 2013 Mercedes Benz SL550 Roadster with plenty options, low mileage and extended warranty until 2017, what make sense for a car in this price range. Nowadays, it commonly seen that car salesmen just don’t do enough good job and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. After learning that a Mercedes lease was more affordable than a Honda purchase, I began to seriously research my Mercedes options. Darrel Young made my new "step up" possible. Daryl acted like a friend the entire time. He was friendly and courteous, but not fake. I appreciated him treating me like a guest, and being patient with me while other dealerships were calling me while I was talking with him. He was also very sharp dressed and professional. We were looking for a luxury SUV and had researched multiple brands, including the 2015 Mercedes ML 350. We visited Walters Mercedes in Riverside to window shop and ultimately test drive several Mercedes. Our sales rep was Bob Murray. We found Bob to be extremely pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. We did not buy a Mercedes that day as we told Bob we were shopping around. Bob was supportive of our process and IMG_9286.pngencouraged us to shop and compare. Two weeks later we returned to Walters Mercedes and met with Bob again. We had done our homework and were now ready to test drive several SUV's again. After 2 hours and walking around looking at the extensive inventory of SUV's, we chose a 2015 ML 350. Bob made the negotiations extremely easy and we got a good deal. The entire experience with Walters and Bob were extremely pleasant. We would definitely buy another vehicle from Bob and Walters Mercedes. More
