Average experience. This was the 6th new car I have purchased. I have purchased a new vehicle from Doan, about a year and a half ago. The only reason I went there for my second vehicle from them is they had the one I wanted and I did not feel like going through a dealer to dealer trade. Before we even came to a deal I told the salesman I always opt for the gap insurance. When I went to sign the paperwork he handed me a gap waiver. He told me that Chrysler financial does not offer gap insurance, which is true but someone at Chrysler financial told me the dealers here(Rochester, NY area) do have companies that have it. The person at Chrysler financial told me the salesman just didn't want to update all the paperwork. I was also misquoted for the extended warranty, which I would usually not buy but the car I bought has a crap ton of electrical things, that I don't want to have to worry about. I also went in on a Tuesday to sign paperwork and all the crap that goes with buying a vehicle and getting financing, and waited around for about an hour and a half. They did get me approved at 0% for 7 years so that was a definite positive. When dealing with the salesman he did seem pretty familiar with the options of the car I wanted. Overall I like the car(2016 Dodge Dart GT) a lot. I am very happy with the car. I traded a 2008 Ford Explorer. I never thought I would have ever bought another car instead of a truck but I did and so far do not regret it. More

Don't keep their word I went in for the heck of it to see what was available and to see what my truck would be worth. After consideration, I decided that I did not want to buy new car from Doan and asked my sales man Mike to please rip up my check in which he proceeded to tell me that they already cashed my check (less than 24 hours) Not acceptable at all. It is now April 21 and I am still waiting for them to refund my money. I wrote the check on March 30. The sales man said that the manager Brandon was responsible for this. I am way beyond upset! I have called and all they tell me is that they want me to send them a copy to prove that the check was cashed. They know the check was cashed. They deposited it. This is not the way to do business. I do not recommend this company at all. Way to many better dealerships out there that don't do business this way. Shop around if your smart More
