So far I’m not happy about what has transpired after we drove our brand new XC40 home. The gas lid door had a dent in it that we disclosed before we closed on the deal. Now it turns out that it’s a factory drove our brand new XC40 home. The gas lid door had a dent in it that we disclosed before we closed on the deal. Now it turns out that it’s a factory defect so we have to live with that, ok so be it. When driving the car home the Very first day we took delivery it started to vibrate as if the tires were not balanced correctly. Turns out that 3 tires have a flat spot. Weston Volvo’s Sale’s department and service department disputing between themselves who is responsible for replacing the tires. We as customers are caught in the middle of this dispute until they decide who should pay for the defective tires. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. This is not the way customers should be treated. More

After a misdiagnosis of biblical proportion and an unusual two week delay due probably to the fact that I am an out of area customer, my car was finally serviced for a brake issue. The car is 22 years old and I offered to take it elsewhere if they did not want to work on it. I have a continuing question as to how and why this situation was so terribly mishandled by the technicians. The service advisor Luis was excellent throughout this ordeal but clearly some shop personnel need serious re-training. More
