Have had many car buying experiences which were mostly annoying, stressful and left me with the feeling that somehow the dealership got one over on me! This sure wasn't the case on Monday, December 30, 2 annoying, stressful and left me with the feeling that somehow the dealership got one over on me! This sure wasn't the case on Monday, December 30, 2013. This dealership experience should happen to everyone! Professional, knowledgeable, respectful, courteous, smiling staff! I even had FUN during this car buying event and felt fabulous when I drove away in my 2014 Honda Accord EX!! My experience began with Jamie Williams on their website. Jamie responded quickly and efficiently answering all of my preliminary questions as well as pricing the vehicles in which I was interested. From there I was greeted by Ray James in the lot and he took me to meet Tod Ruble whom was expecting me. Tod thanked me for using their website and taking time to come in for a test drive. Don't want to continue to gush about the manner in which I was treated but this was such an unusual dealership experience I can't help it. Ray James, then showed me the auto and explained everything one would possibly need to know. Ray is very knowledgeable and passionate about the Honda products. His professionalism and knowledge were most appreciated. he's also a very positive and friendly person. We then took a test drive and I knew this was the car for me. Upon returning to the office we made a deal without any gnashing of teeth or back and forth. Then I met with Steve Kowalski in Finance another professional whom made it easy. This was probably the shortest amount of time I've ever spent with the finance person. As you can tell, I am very pleased with my car buying experience at Alan Nott Honda! Within 2 1/2 hours I was driving down the road in my new auto...WOW that's pretty incredible in itself! They say "word of mouth" is the best advertising...I plan to tell all whom are interested to take the opportunity to visit all of these fine professionals at Alan Nott Honda! More

Just leased a Honday Odyssey and love it! Had a great experience. Was able to get the vehicle we wanted in the color we wanted for the price we wanted. We have been wanting a CRV for some time and have looked various places. Jon Keysor and the rest of the employees at Allan Nott were very helpful, no hassle, professional, accomodating. There were a few small items on the car that we wanted repaired and they fixed them with no questions ask. That really has never happened to us before. Usually we have to haggle to get the small items we want. Jon Keysor was very helpful. Followed through on everything we ask of him in short time period. Found the answers to all our questions and never made us feel like we were asking unreasonable questions. Split the price on new tires with us. We appreciated that, as my husband has a tire fixation. Really, we went in with a price in our head, and they worked with us to make it happen . More
We have a Honda for the first time ever -- a great used Civic Hybrid. The check engine light was coming on and we had it evaluated with our local (Bluffton) mechanic. He reset it because that hadn't been d Civic Hybrid. The check engine light was coming on and we had it evaluated with our local (Bluffton) mechanic. He reset it because that hadn't been done after a recent oil change and the code was not making sense. After a few days the light returned and he said we'd need to go to a dealer. I work in Findlay and have not had good experience with the dealer there, so we chose AK in Lima. First go 'round indicated a software upgrade and we did this, but after a few days the light came on again. They got it right in, in spite of the upcoming holiday week and evaluated it again -- needed a new IMA battery. YIKES!! We thought we'd be facing thousands of dollars of repair or perhaps a new car. The new battery was covered under the warranty and this was honored by your service dept. I have to say that during the 2 week conversation and car in & out, everyone was courteous in the face of bad weather, holiday frenzy, and accommodating my work schedule that doesn't lend itself to being in Lima. I did give Friendliness a 4 because in one early conversation the person I was speaking with had a brief tone of voice that sounded like, "Oh, this is a woman who doesn't know what she's talking about" and asked me if I was sure it was the check engine light -- This was after I'd said we'd had it evaluated and reset locally. I do understand the need to ask clarifying questions of this nature, but this one sounded demeaning in tone. If he'd asked, "Tell me what you did after that light came on the first time" I'd have said, stopped the car, got out the manual, evaluated the indicator light, opened and closed the gas cap, determined that it could be the extremely cold weather, and drove home. Then waited to see if it was there the next morning and it was. I call Gary Kirtland and took it to him immediately because the initial code indicated a need for a tire rotation which we'd had done recently. I knew something else was wrong. This question would have given him more helpful information than my answer, "It is the little light that is shaped like an engine" and his response, "Oh, that's it. You need to bring it in." (Yep, I knew that, because that was my reason for calling in the first place.) Thanks for your great work! More
