He was very understanding that we weren't ready to buy but was readily available for any questions that came up the next several months. Finally in mid December we decided it was time to make a purchase and Samir clarified all of the trim packages before we finally picked a vehicle on the lot. Samir handled our purchase with professionalism. He has also been readily available for post purchase questions regarding our vehicles features. There was no pressure through the entire process...it was like buying a car from a friend. More

I went in needing to replace my current car while in recovery from a broken leg and the sales team was great about making sure I didn't have to travel far between test drives, carrying things for me. Overall a good experience and they were very friendly and patient to work with. And another employee gave me a ride to drop off my rental car when it was all over. More

Successful purchase at Wilde East Towne I drove about an hour to visit Jerry Ortega (sales, used) to see a 2005 Honda S2000. He was extremely helpful and I found it very easy to talk to him about the car and ask him questions about the buying process. He was very knowledgeable about the car (which was very helpful since it isn't a common car) and quickly answered any questions I had about Wilde Honda's buying process. He was very open about answering questions related to items that were no longer original on the car or items that weren't included when Wilde Honda obtained the car. Additionally, Jerry was also very helpful over email leading up to my visit by providing me helpful info and responding to my questions. He was very friendly and courteous throughout the process, and even kept in touch after the purchase, which I very much appreciated. While I feel comfortable that I would have been able to work out a fair price on this car at an average dealership, it was extremely easy to work with Wilde Honda and Jerry to buy the car with their no haggle pricing, and thought the experience was very good. Leticia Acosta has sold two cars to our family . The first was a (barely) used 2015 Civic to my son Christopher in the summer of 2015, and the other was a new 2017 Fit which we bought yesterday. . The first was a (barely) used 2015 Civic to my son Christopher in the summer of 2015, and the other was a new 2017 Fit which we bought yesterday. In both cases Leticia treated us professionally and in an honest and straightforward manner, and we drove out of your lot quite happy with our purchase. We enjoyed doing business with her, and hope to do so again in the future. Regards, Steve Leo Nydia Rojas More
Mostly fair, but they sure make you work for it Buying a car is not fun, and this dealership still uses the same old tactics that have been used for the last who-knows-how-many years. First you Buying a car is not fun, and this dealership still uses the same old tactics that have been used for the last who-knows-how-many years. First you get an overview of the car from the salesman. Then he accompanies you on a test drive. So far so good. I expect this when I'm shopping for a new car. Then the "fun" begins and they start selling. If you have a trade, you get double the fun. The salesman made the first offer (after consulting with the manager), with a price way too close to MSRP on the new car and a lowball offer on my very clean trade. I was visibly upset and expressed my dissatisfaction, so the ball was in my court to make an offer. So I did the same, and made a lowball offer on the new car and a fair offer on my trade. Off to the manager's office he went again. This time, the manager came back to close the deal. I didn't like the final offer, but we were only about $500 apart so I took it. Done deal, right? Not quite. They didn't have the color I wanted in stock, but their "sister store" in Milwaukee had one. Of course, they had just showed it and it might be sold, and then they'd need to locate one at another dealership. They promised, though, that the dealership would be less than 200 miles away because they "never sell a new car with more than 200 miles on it." As you can probably guess, the sister store sold the car I wanted, and they had to find one somewhere else. They found it and got it to Madison fairly quickly, but never informed me until after I signed all the paperwork that it had nearly 450 miles on it from the 6+ hour drive to get it to Madison! Surprise! Man do I hate surprises, but that's what I get for assuming they were honest and not asking about it before I signed the deal. Just when I thought I was finished with the torture of negotiating, in walks the finance guy with all the paperwork. Easy, right? Just sign your name a couple dozen times and drive away in your new car. Nope. It's never easy. Time to sell again. This time, the pitch was for an extended warranty and every other protection package under the sun, which would add almost $200/month to my payment if I took all of it! Needless to say, I wasn't interested, but my wife bit and decided we wanted two of the 7-8 products they were offering. We didn't like the price, though, so negotiations started again. Whee! Fun! It didn't take long for them to knock 25% off the price of the two options we chose, and once again we had a deal. We signed the order form, signed over the title on our trade, and signed our names 20+ more times and it was time to take delivery. The salesman allowed us to inspect the vehicle and then did a very thorough walk-through of all the options, helping set up some features of the car for us. All-in-all, we were probably at the dealership for 3+ hours, which is a little crazy, but I understand it because it was the day after Christmas and they were very busy, and obviously understaffed in the finance office and on the sales floor, since our salesman was juggling at least 3 different customers simultaneously while we were there. We traded keys and drove away in our brand new 2016 Honda Pilot Elite. Less than 24 hours later, I got an email telling me I still needed to get them the title for my trade, and that it would cost me about $25 to get it from the DMV. Um, no. I signed it last night and handed it to the finance guy. How did they lose it less than 24 hours later? Not a terrible experience, but not perfect either. The salesman was very knowledgeable and professional, but I sure wish I could just deal with one person who doesn't have to step into the manager's office every time one side or the other makes an offer. I also wish the negotiation process could step into the modern world or just be eliminated altogether. The fact that I had to negotiate everything was exhausting, and starting with an adversarial relationship doesn't serve either of us well. I hoped I'd walk away with a strong urge to give a 5 star review. Unfortunately, I can't give more than 3 because the overall experience left me pretty disappointed, even though the salesman, manager and finance guy were all very knowledgeable and professional. It all comes down to customer experience, and this dealership has some work to do in that area. I'll have all my service done at this dealership, and will be sure to rate them again once I've been there a few times. More
Standard & Recall Service Since my move back to the Madison area, I have utilized a couple of Honda dealers, but working with Cheryl Romo made the decision to continue to come Since my move back to the Madison area, I have utilized a couple of Honda dealers, but working with Cheryl Romo made the decision to continue to come back to Wilde easy. Cheryl was a great first impression for Wilde - even though I could tell she was busy, she still greeted me with a smile and a professional/friendly attitude. Cheryl was very easy to work with - she advised the service to be done, and followed up the next day with an update/quote and completion time. The car looked great upon pick-up. I really appreciated this outstanding customer service - thank you, Cheryl! More
