My 2006 Mercury Mariner had the transmission blow up so we were in need of a vehicle. Normally, I would take up to a month to buy a new car. I didn't have the luxury of doing that. So knowing we only had a short time to shop I scribbled a few notes on a pad and went car shopping. But I also called my daughter to get her opinion. She said she would head to the eastside of Madison. Glad we did. We first test drove a Rav4, nice vehicle but I wanted to see what a Honda CR-V felt like. We pulled into Wilde and Mikel greeted us. We told him what we were looking for and he steered us to the spot on the lot to look. After a 10 minute walk around the CR-V's we asked if we could test drive one of them. As I said I'm not an impulse buyer but as soon as we got out of the lot I knew this was the car for me. But it was 6:30 at night so I figured we come back to look some more on Wednesday. But to my surprise both Mikel and Karen were willing to make the deal with us that night, staying overtime for us. They were both very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. I told the sales consultant the exact car we wanted and the price point I have already been offered by two other dealerships. Typically I dread the car dealership experience, however our experience at Wilde was far different than my pat experiences at other dealers. Our sales rep Jeremy provided a great car buying experience without any pressure. Jeremy helped find us several options that fit our families needs and budget so that we could drive and compare several options. We came back the next day to test drive the car a second time, called Jeremy to let him know we were coming and when we got there he had the van parked in front, warmed up and ready to drive. I couldn't ask for a better experience with Jeremy and the rest of the Wilde Staff. I will be back when I need my next car. More
