My wife and I have purchased several vehicles here. They go above and beyond for us. Their service department is one of the best around.

I took my Buick envision Avenir bran new 2923 with 300 - 1975Corvette

I took my Buick envision Avenir bran new 2923 with 300 miles on it to Nesmith Chevrolet in jesup Georgia because my new tires were shaking. I had two new tires with receipts that I brought with me. Ron Manning the service manager replaced the tires for me and one tire was hopping. Ron manning said he will keep the tire to see if continental would warranty the tire and if they won't I can pick the tire up and get continental to warranty the tire myself. After two weeks I heard nothing. I called the service manager Ron Manning and he told me he would look for the tire he forgot. Then said someone stole the tire. Then said it was picked up by a scape man and ground up. I asked since he lost my tire to replace my tire that I entrusted with him that he lost at Nesmith Chevrolet in jesup Georgia. Manning is the service manager. Ron ignored my request and started hiding from talking to me. I contacted the manager Mike combes and asked that Nesmith Chevrolet in jesup Georgia replace my tire they lost. Mike combes refused to replace my tire and told me to do what I think I need to do they would not replace the tire they lost. As well a rim was bad in my car. Service manager Ron manning ordered a new rim and replaced the rim telling me there was no charge that the car only has 300 miles on it and gm will warranty the rim. I left. Two weeks later Ron manning called me and wanted me to pay 300.00 as my part GM didn't pay for the rim. I said you and manager Mike Combs said I didn't owe anything and Nesmith Chevrolet has a slush fund to pay these costs in case Nesmith makes a mistake. . Ron manning was very persistent trying to get my credit card numbers. I told him I'll call later I caint afford to pay that now . Every day after that employee's of Nesmith Chevrolet called me harassing me to pay the 300.00. After Nesmith got so aggressive basically threatening me I reluctantly paid the 300.00. As I was paying after they got my credit card number they tacked on another 59.00 taking 350.00 from me. Then they went away. I contacted manager Mike Combs. He said it was supposed to be paid out of a slush fund for this purpose because I was told I didn't owe anything. But since I paid he was not refunding anything. As well Mike combs said he was not replacing my tire I have receipt of buying that only had 300 miles on it that the service manager Ron Manning Lost and then refused to ever talk to me again. So I'm out of a 250.00 tire and got harassed and threatened to pay 350.00 for a rim I was told was under warranty for. This conduct 8s not good or professional considering I'm a veteran. Of Iraq and on oxegen and have to walk with crutches. Mr. Nesmith and manager Mike combes put Thier hands on me and prayed for on me in the showroom of Nesmith Chevrolet before I bought two cars from them. Convincing me They were christians and basically manipulated me 8nto buying two cars that ended up having major problems. . I think everyone needs to know how Nesmith Chevrolet acted like Christians praying on me then I buy two cars then they swindle me harass threaten me to pay 350.00 for a rim that I was told I owed nothing and loosing my 259.00 tire then refusing to pay for my tire telling me to do what you have to do then ignoring me. I do not recommend anyone to do buisness with Nesmith Chevrolet. As well manager Mike Combs told me Mr. Nesmith was adding a extra 50,000.00 to the price of sticker on the Corvette price basically to take advantage of others because everyone else is gouging people. Seriously all this is wrong especially when the manager and owner claims to be Christians and manipulate people to buy cars by making others think they are good caring people. In toll you will get taken advantage of and ripped off doing business with Nesmith Chevrolet in jesup Georgia. I suggest going to a different dealership to do business. I was done wrong and ripped off. Lied to and my tire was lost by Nesmith that they refused to replace.

I work out of Birmingham running a one truck hotshot business. Tuesday of this week headed north on I75 about 40 miles south of Perry the dashboard on my new 3500 lit up and truck slowed to 62 mph. Called the nearest dealership and service department told me to come on by but because of holiday weekend would be next week before they could even take a look at it. I was pulling a 40 foot trailer with 4 deliveries scheduled for the next day. Next week was not going to work. Kept traveling north and found Hamby Chevrolet online. By the time I made it there, it was 4:15. Parked out front and ran to the service manager’s office and described my trouble. William Walker was on it immediately. He instructed me that we are up against the clock, they close at 5:00, to drop my trailer on the grassy area out front. and get him the truck asap. I did as instructed and handed over the truck about 4:30. William took it back into the service area immediately and I waited. By 4:50 William gave my the diagnostic results. I was getting electrical interference from either the electronic log system or the electric trailer brakes. Suggested I get those checked when I got home, that they had reset the truck electronic system and I was ready to go! Words escape me to adequately express the sincere gratitude for getting me back on the road. As my living comes from that truck rolling, I can’t afford to be out of commission for a week unexpectedly. William and the service department went above and beyond! The most honest, trustworthy and helpful car dealer I have ever purchased a car from. I'm a senior and have purchased many cars during my lifetime. Tell them the automobile you want and they will do everything they can to get what you want for a fair price. Everyone there make you feel like family. I have never had to bargain to get a fair price. Everyone is so pleasant, helpful, honest and make me feel like family. Their shop is also present and good. This is where I have purchased my last several cars from and will continue purchasing cars from. Thanks to the salesman Ricky, management and the team.

UPDATE: Mr. Price personally helped out with my issue and resolved it accordingly. I really appreciate that my second experience was way better!! Scheduled an appointment over a month out for service. My vehicles back window is leaking. GMC Sierra 1500. Dropped off my vehicle at 8am for what I thought was an 8:30 appointment. I was sadly mistaken. I didn’t not receive any communication from the service department. Once the time hit about 2:30 in the afternoon, my wife and I were nearby so I stopped in. I asked about an update and was told that they had not even looked at my truck yet. I proceeded to leave to await a phone call. I got that phone call about 30 minutes later. I was then told that they had window assembly would need to be resealed (something that was fairly obvious when I made the appointment over a month ago). Unfortunately they ran out of sealant/solvent because “we have had to do a few of these in the past few weeks.” So not only was I out an entire day at work for absolutely nothing to be done, I now have to take it back in on Monday for it to be fixed because after they didn’t look at it all day and didn’t have the parts to fix it, they made a phone call to another store to source the parts. Something that could have/should have been done in the morning after they should have looked at my truck at the prescribed appointment time. To say I’m disappointed is underselling it. I honestly wanted to trade in that truck right then and go buy another Ford like I had before. Thanks for not much David Carter and whoever the service manager is. I will not be recommending that anyone do business with this dealership. This is my Ted Talk, a disgruntled veteran.

I took my 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon into the dealership for an oil change and to have a noise checked out. I was greeted by a gentleman named Rick and another named James - I was greeted by Rick James. They took a quick look under the hood, and Rick James both thought they could have my problem fixed during the routine oil change. I waited in a comfortable waiting room and got to watch Night at the Museum 2 - The Smithsonian, and it was the shizzle. The oil change was done to perfection, and my flux capacitor belt was adjusted to take care of my noise - GREAT service guys! The service manager, Mr. Jamison King, also chatted with me and the next time I need service on my 1987 Cutty I'll be coming back to Lee Munroe's Pinetree Buick/GMC/Pontiac/Olds/Hummer/SAAB/Chevy/Geo/Cadillac/Saturn.

While on a trip to FL my Suburban's alternator went out. From my cell phone I called information for GM dealer in Macon. Once on the phone with service department, at 4:15pm, they directed me to their facility, called back every 5 min to make sure I was still mobile and were standing outside waiting on me (held 2 mechanics from quiting time so my service would be fast). Within the hour I was back on the road. For the next 40 or so mins I received phone calls from either a service person or sales person wanting to know if everything was going well with the repair and to let me know they were available if I needed. GREAT FOLKS!!! Will definately go to Macon for my next GM auto/truck purchase!!!<br>

I’d like to express my dissatisfaction with NeSmith - Unhappy Customer

I’d like to express my dissatisfaction with NeSmith Chevrolet in Jesup, Georgia. My 2020 Equinox is due for its 50,000 mile service. I requested a loner vehicle for the duration of this service. One service representative informed me they did not have any available, “the list is a mile long.” Another service representative informed me that loner vehicles were only available for GMC customers. This is ridiculous! I’m willing to wait for service if the list is truly a mile long but to be told bluntly that I don’t qualify for a loner vehicle because I don’t drive a GMC is not good customer service. I’ll find a Chevrolet dealer who knows how to treat customers properly.

Had a cigarette lighter receptacle replaced. The part was $4.93 and they charged $165 labor to pull 2 panels and insert new receptacle....THIEVES.....$169.93 total bill for the receptacle....

I did not leave the extended warranty information in the car, so Brad went above and beyond to contact the company for me to submit my claim for the repair and saved me over half of the cost for the repair.
