Missed the mark, but close - stan
Was offered extended warranty but I declined. Should have been offered opportunity to make vehicle “Certified Pre-Owned” as an alternative sine the vehicle was eligible. I didn’t think about it until I was long gone. Otherwise, well done. Helpful, informative, knowledgeable. Very friendly, not at all pushy.
They walk the walk- Outstanding Customer service ! - JCM
Let me begin by telling you about my experience at Hennessy Buick Mazda GMC I first began my search for a vehicle on Tuesday 11/5/2019. I went online and found a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, after I called the dealership the receptionist gave the call to the sales person Michael Reyes, and he did a wonderful job in getting the vehicle ready for me to see that evening, when I got to the dealership the Salesperson took me directly to Michael and he was ready for me to look at the vehicle ,after getting a copy of my driver’s license we proceeded to go look at the vehicle, he had a vehicle up front clean and ready for me to do a test drive. There was only one Cosmetic area on the vehicle that needed attention and he got that taken care of right away. On the test drive he asked me how do you like the vehicle was anything that would stop me from purchasing the vehicle today. There was no pressure in his sales pitch. So as we pulled back into the dealership he had I put the vehicle in the same spot that I got the vehicle and we went inside to work out the details? While we were doing the paperwork the pre-owned sales manager Hector Forkel came and introduced himself whom I thought was a nice touch that the manager immediately came over and said hello and ask do you have any questions about the vehicle. I told him so far so good the next step was taking me to the finance office to see Donnie Wilmoth the Business manager, he did a great job and having my paperwork ready presenting me a menu for different items for my car, I did purchase the warranty and gap for my vehicle the whole process took about two hours the Process was very good and did not take long at all, finally as I was about to leave the general manager introduced himself Ricky Williams and thanked me for my purchase at the dealership Hennessey did an outstanding job from the sales call to the final purchase of my vehicle everyone will do great by purchasing a vehicle At this dealership Ricky Williams the General Manager has a very great crew and it shows by his leadership has a very great crew, And it shows by his leader ship that this dealership customer service is number one and satisfaction to be given to the customer. Even after the sale my sales person Michael Reyes gave me a phone call the next day and I received a call from The General Manager Ricky Williams!! That is the wow factor, Dealerships teach customer service but how many actually do it! Well this one does walk the walk and I’m very glad to share my experience. And also Michael Reyes gave me a call in three days to follow up again! Wow great job. It shows that the sales process that they have in place is being done. Thank you all once again I will be telling people to come to Hennessy Mazda Buick GMC on Jonesboro Rd in Morrow GA to your dealership to purchase a vehicle and they will be treated GREAT!!

Excellent Service - Happy Customer
I left my car overnight and Brad kept me informed about the status of the repairs needed in order to fix my vehicle. I did not leave the extended warranty information in the car, so Brad went above and beyond to contact the company for me to submit my claim for the repair and saved me over half of the cost for the repair. Thank you Brad.

An Amazing Experience! - Rickytm5
I believe that the experience at a dealership starts with its people and it continues from there with the Delerships overall building, grounds quality and then it’s inventory.
NeSmith absolutely exceeds on all of these areas. They have the most friendliest personnel that I’ve ever seen, their building is beautiful, the exterior and interior are well maintained and best of all, they have athe largest inventory, diverse selection of automobiles and (custom) Trucks not found anywhere. I found that The Service and Parts Department continues and makes sure that your buying experience doesn’t stop there, they make sure that your new vehicle receives its necessary service on time, they also provide you with the installation of any additional accessories that parts may offer you or that you may want to enhance your new or used vehicle experience.
Thank y’all for a job well done !!!!

Rebate and Discount Prices is Fraudulent Advertising - Potential New Truck Buyer
I saw a new truck advertised on their website with a $60,000 MSRP and received an online quote with their best price, (I'll round the numbers for simplicity), to a selling price of $47,000, plus tax, title, and license. The truck was advertised as $60K MSRP with a Franklin Discount of $7000 and a Factory Rebate of $6000. The internet sales price says, "Total Savings: $13,000, best Price $47,000." So far, so good. Seems simple. Let's go purchase this truck. (There were many other dealers that offered this same truck with these discounts and rebates.)
After test driving the vehicle, the nice salesman retrieves a formal sales sheet proposal from the Sales Manager. All of the numbers previously mentioned were on the sales sheet, however, their math showed their best selling price is closer to $55,000. I said to the salesman, "Your math takes the Factory Rebate away from me and you also added $799.00 dealer documentation fees, however, your internet price says that your price INCLUDES the $799.00 at $47,000." They also tried to sell me some bogus environmental protection for $1200, saying that insurance doesn't pay for hail damage to a vehicle. The (hail) it doesn't.
The Salesman brings the sales manager back to explain this "Higher New Math" to me, such an uneducated simpleton, and I ask him to use his calculator and subtract the rebate and discount from the $60K MSRP and he comes up with the internet sales price of $47,000.
He says, "There are no pluses or minuses on this sales sheet." I replied, "Then what you are telling me is that this sales document only itemizes these deductions just to show me the discount potentially available and the factory rebates that you are taking from me, but you are NOT going to pass these savings on to me because the selling price is not $47,000 but near $55,000.
So, then he uses a calculator and takes the sales price of $47K and adds to it the Factory Rebate back to his price and comes up with nearly $55K. "Oh, that's all that is, you just add the rebate". I said, "Yes, you are not passing on the rebate to me, you are taking it away and keeping it for the dealership. Afterward, he said that I have to look at the pluses and minuses, which he previously said there weren't any, and I eventually threw my gauntlet down and said he was full of "expletive deleted". He picked up his papers and left in a huff saying he wouldn't put up with a customer that didn't put up with his (expletive).
I've been in business for years and am very knowledgeable of "debits and credits" in accounting, I've traded 5-8 trucks at a time in my business, along with other heavy equipment. Franklin Chevrolet advertises a low internet price to get you in there, they think you will be all google-eyed about the new bells and whistles of the vehicle and then they turn the "Screw You, Sucker" knob on high!
I will be contacting at least my State representative and the Consumer Protection Agency and eventually, I will pressure the political system for major changes in Auto Dealerships business practices. If they attempt to pull this on me, I can't imagine what they get away with on less informed customers.
Warranty work peformed on 2018 Chevy pickup - Barry and Beverly
We did not purchase our 2018 truck from Nesmith Chevrolet and I wish we had...however, we did ask for service from them and were treated with kindness and consideration as though we had been customers for years. The work performed was under warranty and the service dept kept us apprised of the repair details through the entire process. Our truck was delivered back to us with the repairs completed with a smile! Next vehicle we buy will from the NESMITH family.
Excellent Service - Contractorforever
I was looking for a 2018 GMC Sierra with special options for about two months. When I was ready to purchase I sent several emails to dealerships showing interest in certain trucks. I found the one I wanted at Master Buick and within 5 minutes of sending the email I got a call from Tony.
Two days later, they drove my new truck and paperwork to my house 160 miles away...I was driving my new truck three days after talking with Tony for the first time.
I was very impressed on how Tony got the deal done so quickly especially since I live out of state.
I highly recommend this dealership. No hassle
Won’t go anywhere else. - Coleh1988
Salesman Adam Teal was absolutely amazing. He was understanding of my financial situation and that while I wasn’t planning to buy a new car, I needed one due to issues with my car at the time. I knew I wouldn’t be getting what I wanted (it was out of budget at the time) but Adam worked tirelessly to make sure I got into a vehicle I loved with the features I wanted. He was kind and welcoming and genuinely wanted to help. I absolutely love my new Trax and I look forward to working with Adam in a few years when I’m ready to get my Blazer!
The dealership is clean and the people are nice. This was my second purchase from this dealer and I won’t go anywhere else!
Used car purchase disaster - Crbuc
Bought a Cadillac SRX luxury used vehicle last Saturday. After one day, the navigation stopped working. Called another dealership in my area to have it serviced. I contacted Jim Hardman about the navigation system not working. They haven’t contacted me back. I believe they are seeing me as a customer who will not be a repeat buyer since I do not live in their area.

Update: also got a check engine light after first week of purchasing the car. According to Richard Kay Chevrolet in Anderson, SC, the air filter needs to be changed and that is triggering the check engine light. They also said that this is unusual for a dealership not changing dirty air filters when selling used vehicles.
Additional parts that need to be replaced (ex. Front brakes) are being put on our ticket for future repairs that we will have to pay for. If we knew all of this repair needed to take place so close after our purchase, we would have never bought the car.
Out of State Buyers Beware - Dirty D
I gave them 2 stars because Riverside does have competitive pricing and most important for me was, they had the truck I wanted. If you are out of state, please note that they charge you $129 title fee no matter what the actual title cost is. I questioned the charge when buying the truck and was told that is what the Alabama's title department charges and that they would send the $129 to the title department for me. I was at the licensing department when the check was opened only to find out that Riverside sent them $18.50 for the title, not the $129. Riverside had kept the balance. When I asked Riverside about the balance, they said that they keep the balance in case there are extra charges with the sales tax and they needed the extra money to cover the charge. After several days of calling and talking to various people they still do not refund me the difference.
The other way they fell short of expectations was that the truck was the dirties new car I ever purchased. I actually had to stop and clean the windshield on the way home.
Great service! - Stephaniemalibu
This was a great experience, it didn’t take us very long and everybody was willing to help with any questions, Or concerns. Anything that had to do with the car was set up before we left and we didn’t even have to ask. Thanks!

Scammers. Replaced in cabin air filter on 2019? - Spierpont31
I only gave 1 star because it is the worst it will allow. These guys do not even deserve that. I took my brand new 2019 terrain in for an oil change and these guys changed my in cabin air filter and air filter without confirming the work with me and then charged me $104 for something I did not need or want. I had told them to remove the parts, but after being there for 2 hrs with an appointment, I was late for another appointment. Being told it would be 45 minutes to remove the part, I asked for a manager. He was conveniently "on vacation", but would be back monday. Called monday. Called Tuesday. Called Wednesday. No call back. Go figure.... I have since had to dispute the charges. I will never return to any of their dealerships and I would strongly advise anybody else to avoid them as well
Awful. Worst car-buying experience of my life - Flabbergasted
First of all, it took over three hours for a cash sale, no financing. And we only got out then because I stood up and told them I was leaving and they could keep the car. They said they'd send someone with the paperwork the next day to me to be signed. The guy showed up over 30 minutes late and all the documentation was wrong. They said oops, sorry, we'll send someone again tomorrow. Almost a week later we finally get the proper documentation. We refused to sign some of the pages because there were things on the vehicle they needed to fix. We took the car in a couple of days later and they've had it ever since. It's been well over a week, they still have the car, and no one can even be bothered to give me a call back after I've called several times daily. Stay far away from this dealership. By far the worst car buying, or anything-buying, experience I've ever had
Sold me a defective vehicle and turned back on me!! - NoChevys
On April 29th I made the mistake of trusting a car dealership, (Bennett Chevrolet-Buick in Kingsland Georgia) to be honest and fulfill its word/commitment. I know better and this will be a life lesson I will pay for 72 months and carry with me for the rest of my life.
Here is what happened. I stopped by to look at 2019s and possibly to trade in my 2018 Chevy Equinox. Keep in mind I have not bought a brand-new car since 2011 (it was ironically a Chevy as well) . Typically, I buy used cars with 5k to 20k miles on them because of the cost savings but we had purchased a used 2018 Equinox in 2018 with 19K miles and we really enjoyed it. We put 15K miles on it in 5 months and now the warranty was about to be up, so we were considering buying a new one.
My salesman, David Strong, seemed like a decent enough young man and had a low-pressure sale pitch. I was satisfied with his approach and decided to do business with Bennett Chevrolet . They did not have an AWD vehicle on their lot, but I was promised that one could be located at another dealership and brought there same day for delivery. I agreed and was convinced/encouraged to complete all the paperwork immediately so that I could take delivery on the new vehicle that same day. It had been a pleasant experience and I failed to see the great harm I would soon suffer.
I went home for lunch and was called around 4pm to come get my new car. I excitedly took the keys to my new car. My wife and I got in and as we left the parking lot, we noticed a buzz/vibration/noise coming from the shifter knob. It’s a 40 mile drive back to the house and I called Bennett Chevrolet from the road and told them of the issue. They told me it was almost closing time and to come back tomorrow and they would make it right.
April 30th at 8 am I was at the dealer and took David (the salesman) for a ride. He agreed that there was a problem and could hear the noise. So, I dropped the vehicle with the service department (I was going out of town for work and would be gone 5 days). I told the salesman I would not take delivery of this vehicle if It was not made right and David gave me his full assurance all would be repaired.
While I was gone I waited 3 days until I finally reached out to the service department by phone and spoke with Mr. Wit for an update. He told me that they could hear the noise but had no idea where it was coming from or what was causing it but that they had ordered a whole new shifter assembly from transmission to column and would replace all of it if necessary. On Friday May 3rd I got a call back from service department informing me that all the parts had been replaced but that the noise was still present. Further, they advised that GM was aware of a noise occurring in some 2019 Equinoxes, but at this time there was no solution and it could not be fixed.
I called sales and spoke with a manager, Anthony, and Denise in customer service who both told me, “sorry come get your broken new vehicle.” I asked for a replacement vehicle - they told me NO, it would be too much paperwork because they had already registered the VIN . I asked them to take it as a trade- they said they did not want it and said we would have to order another AWD and it could be broken too. I told them I would not accept this vehicle- they informed me I had signed a contact and that I owned THIS VEHICLE. I reminded them my contract was for a new (properly working) vehicle. They told me take it up with GM or my lawyers.
I have been a Chevy man for my whole life and I have purchased 10 new cars in my life and all but one was a GM. This will be my last.
Chevy Silverado - Kelly
I have never been to a Rick Hendrick deanship before. I researched my vehicle online, and showed up with my family on a Saturday. My client advisor was Kenmanuel Carrizales, great person, and helped us throughout the process.
Ken and staff got me a great finance rate, cheaper than what I was already approved for, to help get me in the vehicle and most importantly as a whole EXCEED MY EXPECTATIONS with service and my experience. I originally declined getting regular service due to the length of travel, oil change, etc, but after seeing the detailed process of service and scheduling I might just change my mind.
