Overall, great experience. Jacob was extremely professional and always maintained great communication. I would easily choose steves over some of the other dealers in the valley because of their professionalism and availability of vehicles. There are only 2 reasons I gave them 4 stars:
1. The original vehicle I wanted they would let me buy unless I specifically financed through GM at double the interest. With the plan to "refinance" at 6 months. I still used a preferred lender and they still benefited but I didn't get the original truck i wanted. They did provide me a loaner vehicle while i was waiting for my new truck to come from the factory. While it was a tough negotiation, the GM (nick) was very professional about it. Even while I was getting frustrated and calling out their flags.
2. When I went to pick up my truck, I communicated early on my time of arrival since I had a 1h 40m drive. They did not have pre-inspection done and I was at the dealer for 1h 10m while they took care of the cleanup. They received the truck by freight early that morning so had it almost 6 hours before I arrived.

Set an appointment for a simple first oil change sense buying the truck at the same dealer and they tell me it’s going to be at least a 2 hour wait. The reason appointments are set is to maximize time saving for the dealer and customer. I will be taking the truck to another shop from now on.

I was headed to McCall from Utah on a trip last week and had truck problems. I stopped into this dealership as my truck is a Ford and they are a Ford dealership. Lindsay Walcker in the service department was AMAZING, helpful and a calming influence at the time. She was able to quasi diagnose the problem, was hospitable and suggestive with solutions and made "vehicle problems" less problematic. The other people on the staff that I interacted with were great as well. Great service staff from my experience!

Think twice about doing business with Dennis Dillon
Aug 10, 2022 had the oil changed as usual. Jordan Becker was the service writer. He assured me I would be charged the same as always since we purchased the car at Dennis Dillon Nissan Boise. He said the computer put the incorrect charges down, but he wrote the correct amount on my invoice. This is the price I have been charged the last 6 years since I purchased the car at Dennis Dillon. Same price as several, family members have been charged as well.
Aug 15, 2022 @ 9:45 am- Called in to talk with Jordan as I was charged $65.68, instead of the $33.87 which I have always been charged and agreed upon. Not a big amount but principal. Tim answered the phone and said Jordan was off could he be of assistance. I explained the problem, he pulled up the invoice and said he would take care of it today and call me back once completed. He did not call back.
Aug 16, 2022 @ 8:15 am- Ronnie answered and said Jordan was with a customer. He said he could take a message and have Jordan call me right back.
Aug 16, 2022 @9:45 am Wes answered and said Jordan was not in. I said Ronnie said earlier he was in and with a customer. He said I meant he was not at his desk. He wanted me to leave a message. I said I had already left a message. I assumed he was not going to return my call so I told Wes I will take care of it and cancel payment on my credit card. I guess that got Jordan’s attention.
Aug 16, 2022- 5 minutes later Jordan called me back and said he had resolved the problem , and would have a credit to my credit card no later than Aug 17, 2022.
August 22, 2022- No credit on my credit card and no phone call from anyone at Dennis Dillon. I have emailed and called the general manager, executive manager and service manager. None of them returned my call or email.
So our family got together this weekend and determined that over the last 6 years we as a group have purchased 14 new vehicles from Dennis Dillon and have spent an average of $9,872. per year in the service department. This has ended and we will no longer do business with any Dennis Dillon establishment.
We also agree with other reviews regarding the credit manger….a real jerk.

Okay during the purchase, horrible attention after the purchase. Service told me it would be 4-6 weeks before they could get me in to even just diagnose the problem with my pickup. Warranty I purchased wouldn't cover anything that went wrong with the truck. Many failures to return my calls inquiring about reimbursement for warranty and when I finally got through today, finance guy had failed to hit "send" on my form to get my money back. Buyer beware!

Saw a car on KSL texted and called the salesman many times worked out a contract drove 8 hours round-trip. They "verify" that it had been inspected and everything worked. I was so disappointed when I got there and the check engine light was on and there was no AC working in the back to rows of the car. They would do nothing to fix the problem and said if I wanted it fixed I'd have to pay for the service on it before they would check it. This is after the salesperson said that everything works great make the eight hour drive. This is a very lazy salesman didn't do his job all he cared about was his commission and adding fees on to the car. Watch out for their $700 accessory fees for roadside assistance which your insurance already covers and their stupid shadowmark is a scam. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed at their lack of professionalism and care of peoples time and finances. No apologies or remorse from our lazy lazy salesman or his supervisors!
Drove home without a new car.

That can't be worked on in the United States because the warranty won't cover because it's from Canada which we were not told... when we bought the pickup they said that the warranty would cover the pickup and that is not the fact or the truth a year after buying this pickup you have to bang on the dash to start the pickup and the radio went out $34,000 down the drain thanks Rob Green for xxxxxxxxx..... oh and they sold us a warranty that won't cover the broken parts of our pickup and and on top of that they own the warranty they sold us so they pick and choose what they want to cover.....it's just not right

Everyone was willing to help when needed. Our salesman was new and just learning his job but with the support of other he did fine.
