When I first learned that Kendall had purchased Edmark, I knew that it was potentially going to be a bad thing. And it was. But it's much worse than I imagined. From sales to service, Kendall has ruined it all. This is my story...
SERVICE: My truck displayed a check engine light and put itself into low power mode one early morning on the way to work. Low power mode forced me to clear the light to get the truck the rest of the way to work. Upon arrival at the Kendall Service Dept. they were unable to pull a code for the engine light and ended up replacing a $900 motor mount, assuring me that would fix my problem. It didn't. Two days later it happened all over again.
Rather than fix it, I chose to sell. And when I was cleaning out my truck for the sale I discovered some recall paperwork that was sent to me in the past that I simply needed to keep in case this exact problem ever developed. It did, obviously, and the letter arrived so long ago that I didn't remember it. And neither did the service dept..
So I spent $900 on a repair that I didn't need. And when I called to try and make this right they couldn't be bothered to take my call.
SALES: This place used to pride itself on straight-forward deals with no hassle or negotiations. This is your price, take it or leave it. Not always the best way to buy a car, but sometimes you just don't have time to play the game that comes with car buying. Except now they tell you that's the policy, and the games go on anyway, making it the worst possible way to buy a car.
In my case, I simply wanted the price for my trade that the Kelley Blue Book said I deserved. Not the high price, just the fair price. And they came in low. So I reiterated that I simply wanted the fair price that the book publishes, and they actually went lower. And they never would put the price of the car that I was looking at into writing, so I moved on.
Long story short, I went down the street to Peterson Chevrolet where I was in and out in a couple of hours, I received the fair price for my trade that I was looking for without any hassle, and I got a fair price for the car that I was looking for. And you should do the same.
THE MORAL TO THIS STORY is simply this: Peterson Chevrolet, just a few miles down the road in Boise, will treat you fair and respect your time. And you can't run away from the criminals at Kendall Auto Mall fast enough. Lest you just want to hang around and let them mug you while distracting you with cookies. Caveat emptor.
No guarantee on work no customer service - Frustrated
I had a mechanical problem with my RV while passing through Salmon, Idaho. The Repairs they conducted on my RV failed after less than 500 miles. When I tried to get issue resolved they said there was no guarantee and nothing could be done. What? Engine they worked on is a Ford engine; they are a Ford dealer! They have now refused to return my calls leaving me stranded as the result of their incompetent repair job. I don't know what's more frustrating; lack of competent repair or complete lack of customer service! Giving them 1 star is overrating them. If I had an option I would give them a zero! A zero rating for zero service.

Sold my husband and and I a pickup
That can't be worked on in the United States because the warranty won't cover because it's from Canada which we were not told... when we bought the pickup they said that the warranty would cover the pickup and that is not the fact or the truth a year after buying this pickup you have to bang on the dash to start the pickup and the radio went out $34,000 down the drain thanks Rob Green for xxxxxxxxx..... oh and they sold us a warranty that won't cover the broken parts of our pickup and and on top of that they own the warranty they sold us so they pick and choose what they want to cover.....it's just not right

Absolutely horrible service and communication from the GMC service department. Took it in to have two valve cover gaskets replaced as well as an oil sending unit. Took it in on a Thursday and got it back Friday.. that would be the Friday 8 DAYS LATER. They blamed it on freight, never took onus for it themselves. I wouldn't wish them and their lack of professionalism on anyone.

It was my first time buying a car at a dealership and you have to understand that I never used any credit cards or took out loans because I always had been able to pay in full up front, therefore I had nothing to back up my credits score but they were able to help me get a loan at a great rate, and sold me a great car at a very good price. I have gone back several times for questions and for their service and every time they exceed my expectations! They are very honest and will work with you! I would completely recommend them!
