My experience the day I purchased the vehicle was great. Giles was my salesman and he was very nice. However, as soon as you hand your money over you can't get ahold of anyone in the sales department to handle an issue. I've spent the last 6 weeks contacting my salesman and attempting to contact the pre owend sales manager because I was never given the second key to my vehicle. I was told the day of the sale that the previous owner had not dropped it off yet and the dealership would mail it to me within the week. I've made several calls. Left messages with no return call. Sent emails with no response and literally can't get ahold of anyone at this dealership to get my second key. Long story short. Go somewhere else if you want service after you give them your money. Oh and the guy that does the loans completely tried to screw me then brushed me off when I told him the interest rate was too high. He talked to me like I was stupid. If you do go with them do yourself a favor and take care of your own loan prior to going to the dealership. Unless you wanna pay a 7% interest rate with literally perfect credit.

BUYER BEWARE!!! GET EVERYTHING THEY OFFER IN WRITING!! Look very carefully at the car you're buying and every piece of paper.
They quote one number verbally then put a higher number on paper.
They promised to fix a scratch on the bumper BEFORE I signed. When it turned out it would need to be replaced at a high cost (not buffed out for lrless than $100), they refuse to do anything, it's my problem now. NOT how they acted before I signed.

A very bad & ugly impression when service agent said that my appointment was not on today’s schedule! Then when he put in my VIN into system, voila!! I was in their system on I think 07 MAY when I had made this Oil Change Appointment!! HOPE LESSON IS LEARNED to Train Service Agents Better!!
It was my 1st Free Oul Change & despite Service Agent’s Mistake, he did not offer to either do a free outside Wash nor a Free Vaccum!!

I can't believe this place stays in business. With such lousy service and attitude it is no surprise that they relocated to College Park so they can avoide their bad Darcars Silver Spring reputation. If they had done their maintenece job correctly the first time, I wouldn't have had to put in so much money later to fix problems they had caused. My car broke down on the highway shortly after their service because they didn't properly put things back together. When I complained to them, they had the nerve to try to get me in their shop and charge me for more service. I will never use them and I strongly urge everybody to avoid them like you'd avoid a sick bird in your back yard.

stay away from this place they are rude over priced and misleading i had 15550 cash and they let me walk out the door and didn't give a fuck car was 16400 onsale so they say had a misleading coupon that said all rebates were include for 14979 and the car came out to 17904 three other people stormed out on them less then an hour before i did and they just talk shit about them to the other so called sales guy in front of the public so stay away from fox plz

This is a relatively "new" Mitsubishi dealership in the Silver Spring autopark. Actually, they have been around for a very long time as a Lincoln-Mercury dealer, but recently switched to Mitsubishi. I think this works in their favor, as they are very used to treating everyone like VIPs, since Lincoln back in the day was really your "upscale" type of car (and thus had very upscale clientele). Whatever the reason, this dealership has a great staff that is very friendly and attentive. Above all, what I really like was the lack of pressure. I mean, there was literally almost NONE. They simply did their best to show me what I wanted, and worked hard to make it a reality. I wanted the best financing rate (0% at the time), and they got it for me. I wanted it on a certain car (EVO or Ralliart) and they showed me several options. They never pressured me to look at or take anything I wasn't interested in. I have had that happen at SO many dealerships. I also needed to trade in my current car, and even wanted some cash back in the deal. They worked that all out no problem. Even the time with the finance guy to sign the contract was a breeze (normally, that is the part I dread the most). I was expecting to be back there for 2 hours while they tried to sell me a million different extended warranties, rust protection, or whatever else was the gimmick of the week. NOPE! They simply showed me a few quick options (like gap insurance) and that was it. It took just minutes. I can't really say I was sitting there more than 15 minutes total. The whole experience was just fast and painless. And just to qualify myself, this is my 5th new car purchase since around 1999, so I go through this around every 4-5 years or so, so I know about the new car buying experience. This dealership (at least the sales dept) is great. I have not had any service done there yet, but if the sales staff is any indication, I won't mind giving them a try. I would recommend Safford to anyone looking for a car, and especially anyone looking for a Mitsu. I am now rolling in my 2011 Ralliart and loving it.

Ahh... where to start? Should it be why I never bought my car there (salesperson wanted me to put down a deposit to test-drive the vehicle)? Is it the 3 times I had to have my mass airflow sensor replaced? Or what about the time I had my car towed there, called them to ask if it was ready (and they said it was) only to get there at 5:00 pm and get told that they had actually never looked at it? Or what about the check engine light coming on after getting their service? Or the trunk light coming on after they did the 50k maintenance? And when telling them it was working when I dropped it off, getting accused of saying that they had sabotaged my car? The service has never been friendly toward me. I wouldn't recommend them for anything.
