I highly endorse Ballas Buick GMC, having purchased at - kkmarino

I highly endorse Ballas Buick GMC, having purchased at least twenty vehicles from them over the past three decades. Their integrity is commendable, and they diligently strive to ensure that each vehicle meets your needs. A key aspect that I value is their no-pressure sales approach, which contributes to a relaxed and informative experience. I never feel overwhelmed or stressed during the purchasing process, which I consider crucial. Over the years, I have become acquainted with most of the staff, who treat you like family rather than just a customer. The team at Ballas is consistently eager to assist. In the event of any issues, they are committed to addressing them satisfactorily and providing honest options when necessary. The service department manages all my maintenance needs and performs exceptionally well, offering efficiency and competitive pricing in the local market. I strongly recommend this dealership. The management is very approachable and ensures that you leave as a satisfied customer, becoming a part of the Ballas family.

The service department was fast with getting my oil - samantha.rusu

The service department was fast with getting my oil change done, swept out my car and washed it with no additional charge. They went over the items they found during my inspection and had pictures and videos of the failed parts. They also gave me rough timeline on how long I have before expecting new maintenance cost. The parts department was very knowledgeable and helped me find the extra parts that I needed

Yukon I want to preface this by saying that this is my - caldwellhs111

Yukon I want to preface this by saying that this is my first negative review online for a business. We took our brand new 2025 Yukon here for its first service. About a month later I noticed an upward bulge in the hood -it obviously had to be from something left on top of the motor and then shutting the hood creating a dent from the inside. The hood has not been opened since we purchased it new. Toth GMC did our first service and were the only ones to open the hood since we purchased the vehicle brand new. We called the dealership to ask if they had video and could review to see if someone accidently had shut something in the hood. I talked with the manager Samantha and she informed me that they did not follow protocol by taking pictures of the vehicle before servicing it. I asked multiple times if they could review videos and Samantha never would answer that question, instead always changing the subject. She asked me to send pictures and told me she would check with her body shop and what the manager of the body shop said. After about two weeks she called me back and told me that they do not use tools while servicing vehicles therefore there was no way they could have done this. I would love to know how you can change the oil without tools, not to mention that they could have left an old filter, phone, cup, flashlight, etc. and shut the hood causing this dent. I again asked Samantha if they could check the videos and she changed the subject telling me I have no proof that they did this. I can not speak for their sales department, but I would not risk taking your vehicle for service here, given the way that they treated us with this matter, and not following their own protocols. I would love to speak with someone higher up than Samantha to try and find a solution and the truth about this incident.

Looking for my next car... - Heather Garrett

My husband and I are in the market for a new/used car. Spoke with Jim Svelund to find that next car. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He wasn't pushy and did not rush us into buying something right away. Jim also listened to what I wanted in a vehicle. Showed me vehicles that met those wants and needs. I will definitely recommend Jim Svelund to my family and friends searching for their next car.

My salesman George was Awesome! - Steph Thompson

I recently purchased a new 2026 Buick Encore GX Sport - PRIVATE AUTOMOTIVE ACQUISITION

I recently purchased a new 2026 Buick Encore GX Sport Touring from Cochran Buick GMC Youngstown and had the opportunity to work extensively with Steve Bannon during the process. Steve is an experienced automotive professional who understands this business at a level that has become increasingly uncommon. Having spent nearly three decades in automotive retail management myself and now operating Private Automotive Acquisition, a buyer-side automotive representation service, I tend to evaluate dealership personnel from a somewhat different perspective than the typical retail customer. Steve impressed me. He is knowledgeable, candid, professional, hardworking, and, most importantly, understands how to work through the realities of an automotive transaction without resorting to unnecessary pressure or the tired sales conventions that often make the process more difficult than it needs to be. We had several substantive conversations about market-based vehicle pricing, trade valuation, consumer behavior, lead management, and the changing nature of automotive retail. Steve clearly understands both the operational side of the dealership and the customer side of the transaction. He also understands that an informed buyer is not an adversary. That distinction matters. Throughout my time at the dealership, Steve was generous with his time, easy to communicate with, and willing to engage thoughtfully even when the discussion went well beyond the immediate vehicle purchase. He is the kind of veteran salesperson who brings actual value to the process rather than simply occupying a position between the customer and the desk. I would have no hesitation referring a Buick or GMC buyer to Steve. He is a credit to Cochran Buick GMC Youngstown and exactly the kind of experienced automotive professional this business needs more of. Highly recommended. Frank J.
