John McLean is the best sales consultant ever! Above all, he was respectful, listened, and actually cared for my needs. He diligently and patiently worked with me over a couple weeks to find the right car. When one fell through, there was no push from him to buy it anyway. He expertly explained the new CVT, and did not pressure me into anything. He was professional throughout the entire process up to delivery! I hope he'll be there the next time I need a car. My experience trying to buy a car with Matt Robinson was everything you hope buying a car is not. It was pressured, deceitful, unresponsive and involved terrible negotiations. I ended up buying from a dealer that was respectful, responsive and collaborative. I would recommend you do the same.
Additionally, I saw another sales person steal a glance at a customers private negotiation notes while the customer was in the restroom. I thought this was shady and it speaks about the dealerships overall integrity of their employees.

I went to Subaru to look for a potential lease in 3 months when my current lease expired. The salesman pressured me to sign a new lease that day and said they would pay the 3 months of the other lease on my other car and return the other car. When I got home with the new Subaru I found they had added the 3 months payment to the Subaru sticker price on which the lease was based. And they failed to return my other car as promised resulting in my being charged for 3 months of the other lease. They failed to return email and phone messages for over a month until they finally replied and returned the other car. Do not lease a car from this dealership!

This is a high quality car dealership. We did not purchase a vehicle from them due to COVID-19 (we are out of state buyers), but they are definitely honest and transparent. Their pricing is not as aggressive as other dealerships and we found better deals in our home state. But...just buyer beware on a lot of the dealerships advertising much lower pricing and incentives up front. They are more than likely showing you numbers that you do not qualify for to lure you in. And I don't mean based on credit, because I have near perfect credit. After working with five dealerships trying to purchase a vehicle, this was the case almost every time. The online price is not the actual price. The pricing from Rutland VW was in the range of the actual pricing from the other dealerships that advertise lower prices. So it's certainly worth checking out Rutland, even if they don't show the best price online! They are very nice folks and great to work with. We will definitely consider them in the future!

This dealership has an interesting way with numbers and are very deceitful. Bought a vehicle from them 4 years ago...approved for loan at a specific interest rate. I traded my vehicle in and took new car home. They called 3 weeks later and said I actually wasn’t approved and had to get a higher interest rate loan. I wanted my old car back instead but they no longer had it. I was stuck with a higher payment.
I really thought it was me and liked my saleswoman so went back yesterday in hopes it would be better. Made appointment with saleswoman and when I got there she was “busy”. I had an appointment!! Got stuck with someone else but I found a car I liked (love Subaru’s) so new guy sat me down and showed me the numbers. Unacceptable numbers and they said due to Covid they couldn’t give me more for my trade in and couldn’t come down in price for new car. DUE TO COVID!!?? Wow.

I had a very pleasant experience at Burlington Subaru. I went in not totally sure what I was looking for but knew it was time for little upgrade. I ended up with a '16 subaru Outback and I'm very pleased. I worked with Michael Dykstra. He was such a great time and helped find the perfect car for me! The process was painless and he really made sure all my needs were met and that everything fit into my budget. I highly recommend anyone looking for a laid back, productive but fun experience when looking to get a car to hit up Michael Dykstra.
