Overall we were impressed with VW Franklin. Working with Jimmy we were able to come in and test drive the vehicle we were interested in. They were then able to find the model and color we wanted near by and have it ready to go within a couple days. Working virtually to get much of the financing done before coming back into finalize the deal saved us time and waiting to negotiate terms. Only wish that the dealership would have prepared the vehicle for us a little better. Spending the amount we did, having that little extra touch of having the car digitally programmed would have been just a small extra that goes a long way. Also throwing in something even touch up paint is a small token of appreciation and no of these little extras were part of the buying process. Not a must have but it makes you truly feel valued as a customer.
positive - BSBIESIADA
In this time of corona virus it was nice to feel safe and comfortable shopping for our new KIA. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and answer our questions. Scott Westbrook was a wonderful salesman who really wanted to help us have a positive buying experience. We will definitely recommend him and Boucher to our friends and family.

Wasted a week of my time - Arnieb
I was going to buy a Ford Escape and was told that the car would be ready for pick up at 3PM on Monday 7/27/20. I went to the dealership with check in hand for the car and they wouldn't let me take the car because they said there was a recall and Ford didn't have the fix out for it yet. The next day they said they were still waiting on the fix then Wednesday I went there and they said no fix. I decided to talk to another dealership and was informed that there was in fact a recall on the 2020 Escape but that Ford had the fix out on Monday the 27th. So I ended up buying from the other deal not sure why Scaffidi did want to sell the car my guess is maybe they quoted me a too low of price.
I was on vacation and planing on taking the new Escape to visit my brother in Missouri but after wasting most of the week with Scaffidi I don't have enough time to make the trip.

Came in for tire repair, ordered tire day before apt.was told tire would be there for apt next day..arrived for apt. Waited for 20 min, Matt came and told me tire not there, why did you not check before apt for tire?? I left work 2 hrs early for apt and waited in.waiting room 15-20 min. Before you come and tell me tires not there,?? Not good customer service! Plus car check tells me other tires are rated a 5 out of 10..bought car from you last oct.2019 and I don't drive much,so you sold me a car with tires that aren't that good..also don't like that I can't write a check as payment for service, and car wash is never working when I come in.
Because I had recall work done and didn’t spend my own money - Barry
Because I had recall work done and didn’t spend my own money.... why should they do us a courtesy of putting on a spare tire for free? That is what I feel Andrew was getting at... I was out of state so we didn’t need all are vehicles so good time to get a couple recalls done. My wife and young kid took my car in the night before to drop off car. The way there they got a flat. Unfortunately they didn’t know how to change that flat tire. My wife did write a note to them about the situation and called. Andrew called my wife at 9:30AM and told her she needs to pay 30.99 to have spare tire put on. My wife was polite telling him the situation about me being gone and they didn’t know how to change it. She got no sympathy from Andrew or an “I’m sorry that’s what we have to charge”, not a word. She was offended and it was rude for him not to say anything to her just “its 30.99”.
Now when I got back and talked to Andrew he told me they charged that because they had to take a jack out of the shop in the rain and snow. I said “was it snowing when they opened?” They open at 7AM it was a light mist then no snow. Regardless he said “would I work for a half hour at my job for free?” I told him he got paid and yes if I see someone on the side of the road with a flat I would and have helped them for free. Then he said we have to charge for everything even if they help someone take off one lug nut which I know is a lie from other people (my grandpa) that had them do miner stuff no charge, probably because he spent lots of money there. I asked him if someone comes here and spends a lot of money are you going charge for that probably 5 minute job, then he interrupted me! “How much did you spend here, how much?” It was recall work, they made money off it. Fuel module update, Airbag inflator kit but I guess not enough of my money. I asked him how much they made off the recall and he wouldn’t tell me, very unprofessional. Not the first bad experience with Andrew but it will be the last no matter how far I have to travel!! Andrew also told me at the end of this all he actually gave me a deal because it took a half hour and he only charged m for 15 minutes totally contradicting what he said before about having to charge for the work they do and really a half hour for putting on a spare!! It takes me 10 and I’m no professional!
This complaint is not about the money, but about principal, and poor service. This is not the first time I have had a poor experience. Good customer service and going out of your way to be personable, and understanding are simple things that make people want to spread the word about a great business.

Learn from my mistakes - stay away from this place. - Stacey K
Do not get work done here. Sure, they may seem nice enough and professional, and maybe people have thought "wow, they are thorough", but they do not stand by their parts, they do not stand by their work, and all those problems they found in that inspection? Yeah, they probably don't need done.
I went to Broadway Automotive last week because I was having a brake issue. I had just had all 4 done, pads and rotors, in November, less than 13,000 miles ago. I thought maybe they'd stand by their work. I should have known better last November, and I should have known better last week.
I used to go to Broadway Automotive for ALL my repairs. In 2018, I spent months getting repairs done. Over the course of approximately 10 months, I spent about $4,500 on repairs, many of which were merely because a light was on or they "found" something in an inspection.. One day every light came on and every alarm went off and I had JUST had work done, over $1,200 worth of work, so I took it back to Broadway Automotive. After a considerable wait I was met with a long list of repairs they said needed done. It was pretty much a list of EVERY repair I'd had done AT THEIR OWN FACILITY over the last few months including saying I needed to replace the tires they'd just put on WEEKS before. When I said I'd just had all those repairs done, that the tires were weeks old, was it offered to look at my computer and tires to see why such a list would have been generated? No. I was told that if I didn't intend to have those repairs on that list done, I owed $175 for testing fees. This is when I should have told them to go ahead and do EVERY SINGLE repair on that list, and do it as warranty work. But I didn't. I was shocked at the list, at his response to being told his own shop had just done all those repairs, and at the thought that I'd spend THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of dollars, that I may I spent more on repairs than the vehicle was actually worth, for repairs and equipment that may not have needed fixed the first time. So I paid the fee and decided to never go back. I should have stuck with that.
But last November my brakes were grinding metal on metal and Broadway could get me in first, so I held my breath and crossed my fingers.... and made a HUGE mistake.
Last week they told me that it wasn't their work or their parts that were the problem, that it was the calipers that were bad, and, oh, by the way, here's a long list of other repairs they wanted to do. So I said just do the brakes, just get rid of that awful noise. I SHOULD have said "If you aren't going to do it on warranty, I'll take it where I usually go."
The next day the noise is back. So I take it back to Broadway to see how they're going to make it right. They're not. It's the front brakes and they only did the back brakes. I had them just give me my vehicle back and I made an appointment with another place. That appointment was this morning. I told them about the back brakes, that it's probably the calipers. It wasn't. It was the pads and the rotors, and my calipers looked fine, nothing wrong with them.
So I take last week's receipt and today's receipt to Broadway Automotive to see how they're going to make this right. They're not. I got a song, a dance, some personal stories, and insistence that they were right and totally didn't use the calipers as an excuse to not stand by their parts or their work.
I guess I needed to waste another $1,201.57 to learn my lesson. Learn your lesson from my experience. Stay away from this place.

I had a great experience working with the new-car sales a manger even though I ended up not getting a new car.
I found myself in a tough spot being over-miles with my lease and after being given the “cold-shoulder” from another dealership, I reached out to Rob A. at VW Madison. He was upfront, professional, and honest. He took the time to explain why my current lease might be challenging for a dealer, but was happy to try and work something out. He spent a good amount of time trying to find a deal that might work for me.
I would recommend Rob to anyone thinking about a new VW. Thanks Rob!

Pleasant experience - Frank
I am now leasing a Jetta from Umansky. Rob and his manager Scott helped me with everything I asked and more. Shopped around at a few dealerships and they were easily the best. Thet even got me into a new vehicle cheaper than the used I was looking at.
Good service, but no openings for 12 days - vwgolfowner
We bought an almost new loaner VW Golf AllTrack from the dealer. We've had 2 service appointments and the service has been good, but it's taken forever to get an appointment.
Damage NOT Disclosed - Ed H.
I bought a 2015 VW Sportwagen on-line and from out of state. The salesman was nice enough and I asked him to send me pictures of ANY dings/scratches or blemishes. I told him I knew the car wouldn't be perfect but I wanted to see everything wrong.
First he sent low res pics, but eventually sent good pics which only showed a small scratch on the bumper. He assured me there were "no rips, tears, dents, no smoke smell. Nothing to hide on this car at all."
I asked him to take some pics under the car and it showed damage under the front bumper (which he said he didn't know about), but again, said there wasn't ANYTHING ELSE.
When I got the car, the transporter showed me NINE additional dents/scratches that weren't disclosed by Zimbrick (and which the salesman signed off on). I also found a scratch that had been repaired with touch-up paint. So....TEN total undisclosed dents/scratches.
When I contacted the salesman and asked Zimbrick to AT LEAST cover the dent repairs, he said, "there really isn't anything that was misrepresentative, sorry you may think otherwise." Funny, because he SIGNED the transport manifest SHOWING the additional dents/scratches so he KNEW about them. He also suggested the damage was more visible to me because of the California weather (even though HE SAW IT in Wisconsin and signed the transport manifest)!
If you're considering buying a used OR new car from this place on-line, think again OR pay someone local to completely inspect the car before you buy. Nah....just buy somewhere else.
