Had 1pm appointment for safety check. Was told tech just went on lunch break so the wait was 1-1/2 hrs. Last year, wait time was 20 minutes. What is the purpose of making appointments? So if they took me at 2:30 then all appointments after 1pm would have 1-1/2 wait? Wouldn’t it be easier to have tech take lunch at a set time and not schedule service during that time? So unprofessional. Not going back there again. More

I've had my car serviced at Windward Ford of Hawaii since obtaining my 2019 Ford Edge SEL in April 2024. Since I need to keep up with the maintenance of my vehicle specifically for the components that I can obtaining my 2019 Ford Edge SEL in April 2024. Since I need to keep up with the maintenance of my vehicle specifically for the components that I cannot repair or work on myself (i.e. transmission servicing and electronics). Windward Ford of Hawaii's Service Advisors and mechanics are great. I would rate the entire experience a 5, but unfortunately, the staff that supports the Service Advisor and mechanics are unable to predict or anticipate length or amount of time mechanics working on the vehicles. It doesn't take the entire day (quoted to complete in 3 and half hours) to accomplish a complimentary vehicle inspection, an oil change and a tire rotation when you have a scheduled appointment. Any problems identified outside of the required service(s) and other than what was initially requested, should be discussed with the owner and documented on the invoice. Such as the lug nuts ornamental dressing that was found to be swollen and separating, which I denied to have replaced since I already have a new set of acorn lug nuts. Other than these minor issues, I am more than satisfied with the service and experience at Windward Ford of Hawaii. More
