Sold A Lemon Basney Refused To Service Despite Warranty I bought a CRV in Dec 2018. It malfunctioned on the way home the Friday night we picked it up. I caled immediately and told Bryan in sales. The car wa I bought a CRV in Dec 2018. It malfunctioned on the way home the Friday night we picked it up. I caled immediately and told Bryan in sales. The car was service the following week. Two days after we pick it up, they call and say there is a recall service required. It was again in the shop several days. After that service we picked up the car. A few weeks later, it had multiple malfunctions again. I told Bryan I wanted to return the car. He refused. The car was again serviced. They had it for 2 weeks. It came home again only to malfunction AGAIN. I again said I wanted to return the car. Bryan refused to help. It was serviced again. This time they had the car 6 weeks. It came home and again malfunctioned. It was serviced again two weeks ago. It still has loud vibrations coming from under the hood that vibrate the steering wheel, and floorboard and hood. There is also a high pitched whirling noise. There is a gas smell in the cabin. There is a rubber/oil smell coming from under the hood. The passenger seat belt does not always retract. I called Matt in Service over a week ago to again get the car serviced. He chose to not return my call. I called last Friday and spoke to service who promised to meet with Bryan and the service manager to make it right. The person never called. I just called and spoke to the Service Manager. He was unapologetic and did not attempt to schedule service or to make a plan to make it right. Honda USA said the car is fixable and that the dealer's failure to return my calls meant they did not want me as customer and to find another dealer. Beware of Basney Honda! More
