Started off as a Volvo Technician in 2004. In 2005 I joined the Paul’s Volvo Sales team as a Master Salesperson till August 2019. Joined Smythe Volvo in September 2019. My 14 years of Sales Experience have taught me to listen more to the customers’ needs and then answer these needs directly. As a product of Dale Carnegie training, winning friends & influencing people is a core concept of my Sales process. Understanding my customer’s point of view helps me to answer their vehicle needs/wants effectively.

I visited Smythe Volvo today to look at a possible new lease for my next car. I do not drive a Volvo today but like the look of the small SUV. Alon was my sales contact and was informative, respectful, pr lease for my next car. I do not drive a Volvo today but like the look of the small SUV. Alon was my sales contact and was informative, respectful, professional and made me feel like a friend. I test drove a car and was pleased. Alon answered all my questions. He introduced me to Tom, the Sales Manager, as I was leaving and again, Tom made me feel welcome and valued. To contrast, I visited another dealer that same day (not Volvo) and the experience was horrendous. When I compare the 2 experiences today, it was like day and night and Smythe Volvo was the winner! I feel so strongly about how pleasant and impressive my experience was today with Alon and Tom I am happy to write this review. Thanks to Smythe for being what the client wants and needs. Very impressive!!!! Much appreciated!!! More

Outstanding service. Straightforward, no nonsense experience with every individual we met. Alon was our sales rep and was excellent. So easy to work with. Time is precious. I did my my best to respect your time. You and your dealership wasted a great amount of mine. We made arrangements for our children and drove an hour and 1/2 through traffic to get to ou You and your dealership wasted a great amount of mine. We made arrangements for our children and drove an hour and 1/2 through traffic to get to our scheduled appointment. At no point did you share with me that there was someone else scheduled to test drive a vehicle that had been in your inventory for over 2 months. You pressed me to come as soon as possible on Friday because you knew that there was someone else that arranged to drive the same vehicle we were looking at. When we arrived for our appointment you made us wait for 45 minutes because someone else was already test driving the vehicle. However, the sales consultant, Alon Katende, lied and said the reason we waited so long to drive a vehicle we had schedule several days in advance to drive is because they had to “get it out of storage”. At a minimum your dealership lacks a common courtesy to not waste people’s time but more disturbing is that your dealership deceived me so that you could close a deal. The manager expressed the dealership policy of “first come, first serve”. I am thankful we did not purchase a vehicle from your dealership. More
