I went to my credit union wanting to buy a new car for months at a time, never finding what I wanted or working with sale personnels that offered me other cars I never asked to purchase. So, I gave up several times because I couldn't find what I wanted plus I don't like dealerships because they are way too pushy for my blood, but this time was different.... I walked in, I was paired with Hope Smith. Hope pulled the car I was interested in quickly. I test drove the vehicle and spent a great amount of time with the car to be sure it was something I wanted. I fell in love with the car, so she made it happen. No hassle, no extra, and no pressure. Pure vibes, laughter, personal, patience and full of kindness. We made a deal, my credit union was connected to the dealership, so the paperwork was easy. I never put that much trust in a dealership before but honey, Hope got the job done. Thank you Hope! More

Avoid doing business with this store at all costs! ! We had requested information on a 4Runner that was in stock. We did receive an overnight test drive of the unit, which we appreciated. From there on, that's where the wheels came off on this experience. We were asked by our sales person what our parameters were to close a sale, and then we were presented with a proposal that included a warranty we never asked for or would have considered, and a nearly $4000 "market adjustment". We were presented a less than acceptable amount for our trade in as well. After replying back 3 times that none of their offers were acceptable, we then received phone calls from 2 managers asking what they could do to salvage the opportunity. Somehow neither had any knowledge of our situation and the General Sales Manager "paraphrased" that we would have accepted the vehicle by paying sticker price, which is not something we would have even considered. Being in small business, the way this store comports themselves leads me to tell others to avoid even thinking of doing business with Anderson Toyota. There's a reason why so many people in Rockford buy their vehicles out of the area. Other stores just know how to treat customers....period. More
