I have been thinking about side-grading to a small SUV from a car for a couple of weeks and knew exactly what I wanted in a vehicle. I emailed Herb Chambers in the morning and got a prompt response (phone call) from someone, presumably, in sales and I made an appointment to come see them almost immediately. I dealt with Ara (Yaghhsizian) when I got there. He was polite and knowledgeable about the whole process and made me feel comfortable by just talking to me about some NBA basketball and other stuff. Car buying can be an arduous and, quite frankly, annoying process. It was less than that. I think I was out of there in 4.5 hours from start to finish. The staff is courteous, paid attention to my needs, and even had the vehicle I wanted ready to go. No upselling of a vehicle, no trying to get me into a lease. Nothing. Right to business. Other sales people could take a cue from Ara. Some times direct and simple is the way to be. I definitely recommend Herb Chambers for anyone and I most definitely recommend Ara. I even walked out of there with a lower insurance rate for me and my wife. Highly, highly recommend! More

Very unusual dealership. It is like buying a car at a flea market. Their business model is buyer beware. I bought a 2 year old Honda. The price was very fair. The process was exhausting. Their contention is that they price things to sell so they do not make any adjustments. I wanted to finance the car with my credit union. I would give them a deposit to hold the car. They said fine, but if someone wants the car before you get back with the money we will sell it. Odd at the least. Then I asked what the absolute lowest interest rate that they had available for great credit ratings. They refused to answer that. They did all their offers off a rate of 4.99. So they are basically holding me hostage. Finally one of the finance guys comes over to talk to me and tried to explain how they did business and it was simply, either buy it or someone else will. The car had a wheel that was all scratched. They refused to fix it and they refused to adjust the price so I could fix it. If you think buying a car is painful, you have experienced nothing until you buy a car here. I have no problem with the salesman who was forthcoming about how they did business. He was a nice guy and did everything he said that he would I just want you to know that this is not your typical dealership who believes in satisfying a customer. More
