We bought the 2020 Outback Touring XT at Bob Baker Dealership, Carlsbad. Jill was quck to respond, having signed up for Costco Auto Program; good discount. Austin's sales presentation was clear, rel Dealership, Carlsbad. Jill was quck to respond, having signed up for Costco Auto Program; good discount. Austin's sales presentation was clear, relaxed, answered/obtained answers to all our questions. No sense of hurry or pushing. Post buy, he also was quick to respond to my text next day with question. I plan to return in less than 2 weeks for a scheduled car tutorial with him for those things online videos didn't seem to answer or cover; he did give me good instruction set upfront before leaving lot. It's just a lot to take in with so much computerization! Luis in finance took care of us without rushing when the sale went past their closing time, and also answered all our questions we had 3 days later when we returned. Ronnie in parts was polite, took time with us, as we ordered several items. He came out so we could see how scratch guards looked on our car doors before purchasing. Strong face to face customer service by all. Pleasant experience. One draw back is that when they're busy, voice messages left by customers go unattended for longer than should. We were, however, promptly seen on 3rd day post-sale visit when we stopped by after no response call received with multiple messages left at service and finance offices where our calls were directed to. Customer service was average. Had three different issue with my purchase. Requested to see two vehicles, only one was available. Requested the all electric car be fully charged prior to visit. It was not with my purchase. Requested to see two vehicles, only one was available. Requested the all electric car be fully charged prior to visit. It was not. I had the stop and charge the car to make it back home. Requested a broken item on a certified used vw be fixed prior to purchase. Was told it would be. Then after purchase, said service dept closed and I would have to set up appt to get fixed or go to another dealership. None of them were addressed in a professional manner. Do not recommend. More
