My experiences have varied from trying to catch up with my wife as she stomped out of a dealership to wishing I had never stepped onto the lot to feeling like I was the only customer in the world. Bernie and the management at Rock River Ford treated me as well or better than I have ever been treated when working a car purchase. The price was fair, the negotiations were honest and straight forward, and the effort to make sure I was "taken care of" off the charts. He has about a 20 mile commute daily and it was time to put him in a dependable car. Because of his schedule, we had one day to select and purchase a new car for him. The website helped narrow down what would be in his price point ahead of his visit. We narrowed it down to a Fusion or Escape. I met ahead of time with Bernie Krowczyk and Gregg Decman to lay the groundwork so when we came in he could leave with the car. Bernie had vehicles ready to try when we got there and once he selected the Escape, Gregg had the financing ready to go. As a team, they helped us reach our goal. I chose this dealership because I have known the owner and employees for years and they are straight forward to deal with. I have driven Fords from this dealership for 8 years and the service department (Tina Sparks) is also an added benefit to buying from them. Very good experience. More

I told him my interest and he welcomed me and told me to go see Bernie K, who was standing at the counter. Bernie jumped in and showed me a few cars that met my needs. When I decided on the 2015 Optima, we discussed pricing, finance and my past great experiences with Anderson Nissan. Bernie listened and discussed how I wanted the finance meeting to go with Gregg Decman, who got me great terms and in and out signing paperwork in 15 minutes when I returned to pick up my vehicle the next day. He takes the time o matter what to follow up and also to make the special happy birthday calls every year even when he doesn't sell me anything... over the years I have had my father come and by from Rock River Ford of course he was to work with Bernie!. since then my dad has bought 4 trucks from Bernie and the latest transaction was the most effort I have seen put in b a salesman whom which only has so much say and power to control a manufacture Ford order unit (a 2017 F250 Lariat), which took extra extra long to build and ship. Bernie took the time to stay in touch almost daily with my father and to make sure he was taken care of and knew the dealership cared...
