I purchased a Lexus Certified sedan earlier this month,
along with $3000 extended warranty. My driver’s seatbelt will not retract, causing a safety issue. I have been unable to get ANY response from sales

This is my first experience with Herb Chambers, and I’m not pleased with their customer service so far. I expected excellence, and ended up with sub-par service. At the very least, I expected a reply from my salesperson, who promised to get back to me.

Thank you for reaching out again. I truly wish that I’d gotten this kind of response from ANYONE at Herb Chambers prior to writing my review on Dealerrater.com on 8/31.
I did make this known on my Herb Chambers Survey 7 days before posting this review on-line. I also responded to every Herb Chambers email, from.various Herb Chambers employees thanking me for my purchase, and asking me to contact them if I needed help, but did not hear back from any of them until after my dealerrater review was posted.
Timeline:
8/12 purchased car
8/18 arrived to get new registration and sticker, and I asked them to repair seatbelt. I was told that Herb Chambers didn’t consider it a safety issue.
8/22 emailed salesperson for guidance. Was told he’d get back to me.
8/24 filled out Lexus Survey, noting my issue.
8/28 emailed Brian Lopz and Gerry Baker
8/28 replied to text from Randy Vicente asking me for a positive review, telling him that my review will reflect my experience so far.
8/31 After no response from HERB CHAMBERS Sharon, I filed a review on Dealerrater.com.. I honestly didn’t think anyone would even see it, but I needed to vent my frustrations with Herb Chambers because I felt I was getting the “brush-off” after 9 days of being ignored, and 3 weeks after my check cleared.
8/31…Everyone from Herb Chambers was calling me after seeing the Dealerrater review.
My suggestions:
Don’t send Herb Chambers surveys if nobody even cares what the customer reply is,
Don’t send emails saying “Reach out to us” if nobody intends to reach out.
Don’t promise to call back if you do not intend to call back.
Listen to what the customer says when they have a problem, he might be right.
I really expected a positive experience by choosing Herb Chambers Lexus. I ended up with a frustrating, weeks long experience, which has really tested my patience and blood pressure. Regaining my confidence can only be accomplished by never putting me through this again when I reach out for help. Time will tell.
