Life-changing buying experience at DLR I was in the market for a newish midsize sedan. Although I had a couple cars in mind, it came down to one at a dealer and another with Blanca at DLR. I was in the market for a newish midsize sedan. Although I had a couple cars in mind, it came down to one at a dealer and another with Blanca at DLR. I brought both cars to my mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. The DLR car was in near-factory condition inside and out. However, the dealer car was not in "great shape" like they claimed--it had had some previous body work and repainting done, suggesting some sort of incident that did not show up on the Carfax, and had not been disclosed. As soon as my mechanic showed me the issues I called Blanca right away and accepted the offer she gave me. I dropped off the dealer car with a quick "thanks but no thanks" and made my way to DLR, where we completed the paperwork and I was out the door in my new car that afternoon. Overall I was astounded at how differently I was treated by Blanca at DLR vs all the dealerships I had visited. I know that car salespeople can take advantage of purchasers in many different and legally protected ways, and was advised by a consumer protection attorney of the many common issues before I shopped. DLR was the only place where not a single one of the red flags came up. They disclosed everything I felt they should have, they did not try to push me into buying overpriced add-ons, and they responded to the few small issues I felt needed to be resolved before my purchase (such as buying tires for the car, as the tread was just above the minimum acceptable wear line). I felt like DLR really does care about their customers and demonstrates it in concrete ways, unlike all the other dealerships out there that are all talk. More

I started my search in early September and I have an affinity for buying vehicles that are lease returns, simply because you get a "new" car while someone else takes the depreciation hit! I was blessed to have Blanca Benitez respond to my inquiry and I explained my situation and timeline for making the purchase. Blanca was an active listener and made me feel comfortable in explaining my challenging buying position. She outlined a very strategic approach to achieve my goal and she did it with integrity and honesty. She described in detail what would need to be done and how she would help me and she was true to her word from the first conversation to the delivery of our new vehicle. Not only did you deliver a virtually new vehicle, but the price was outstanding as it was $1,000 below the market value for the vehicle and puts us in a great position from an equity perspective! My wife and I arrived at the showroom to take delivery and Blanca had the vehicle ready and the paperwork was in order and exactly as expected. After 15 minutes of signing documents and turning over our trade, we drove off with our 2015 Ford Explorer Limited Edition and my wife is extremely happy with the vehicle, buying experience and our salesperson, Blanca Benitez!
