I took his advice and this past weekend, I drove off the lot with a new 2014 Boxster. This is car #3 I've leased from Bob McDonald. Over the years, he's always been fair and given me great deals, so why wouldn't I come back? Plus, being a female, I have had other dealerships talk down to me like I am a silly girl, but Bob has always treated me with respect. One of my friends bought a Cayman from Walter's after I told him he had to go there. He even drove 2-3 hours in traffic just to get his car serviced at Walter's! Another friend is chomping at the bit to buy a Cayman as well and I told him to go to Walter's. I am a Porsche girl at heart and I will always be a loyal customer to Bob and Walter's Porsche. They are simply the best dealership out there! More

Our friends have purchased Porsches there before, as Walters really does have aggressive "deals" on their new inventory, whereas other Porsche dealers in SoCal do not. We did receive a very fair deal and are quite happy. The new Cayman is an excellent all-around sports car. We would certainly return to Walters for our next Porsche in a few years. More

Best deal ever I had an appointment for 9am on Saturday 5/31. When I arrived 10 min before their posted opening time, I was greeted very friendly and the associate I had an appointment for 9am on Saturday 5/31. When I arrived 10 min before their posted opening time, I was greeted very friendly and the associate went and told John Beech that I was there. He came out right away and we began speaking about my possible lease. I told him that also wanted to test drive a used Porsche they had on the lot, so I test drove both. John was very friendly and described the various functions of each car, before, during and after each test drive. I also want to say that Andy in finance handled the paperwork in a quick, but unrushed fashion. He explained many options (extended warranty, maintenance contract, lojack etc.) without making me feel pressured in any way. I also met Pete Laban and Bob McDonald who were also very friendly and had sent emails to me while I had been doing my shopping before I arrived. The deal that I got on my new 2014 Carrera lease was very very good. The whole process from arrival to out the door took only 2 hours, without much waiting between each phase. It was a real pleasure doing business with Walter's Porsche, and now I understand why soome people I know say they are the best! More

Fabulous car buying experience! Even though other Porsche dealers are much more convenient for me, I chose to custom order my new car from Walter's; that's because during the initial Even though other Porsche dealers are much more convenient for me, I chose to custom order my new car from Walter's; that's because during the initial contact with Bob McDonald, I already felt his sincerity and his willingness to help me get the perfect car that I was looking for, which I didn't see/feel with two other dealers I visited prior to contacting Walter's. Bob gave me a great deal and excellent customer service, not to mention all the patience he had shown me during the whole ordering process--taught me how to track the vessel carrying my car from Germany to San Diego; kept me informed about the status of my car by phone and via e-mail. He also didn't mind my request to take pictures of my car as soon as it arrives and while it still has the protective wrapping. He responded promptly and professionally to every question and concern I had even those that we're not related to car buying (e.g. ordering personalized license plate, etc.). Very importantly, my car was ready for me upon my arrival; everything was perfect. Bob gave me a complete rundown of my car and was very thorough. Bob made this whole car buying process enjoyable and stress-free. I will definitely look for Bob again when I buy my next car and will definitely recommend him to my family, friends and anyone I know who's in the market for a new car. Bob was just great. At no time did we feel any pressure to buy a car. It was like "come on in and take a look around."
