I received a recall letter from Ford and call a couple of days later to make an appointment well a couple of days after my engine light went out so I called to cancel, a few days after I cancelled the light came back on so I brought the car out to make the appointment for a valet to come and get the car. The guy was very disrespectful to my car, I had brushed the snow off the car but didn't brush the snow out from around the windshield and the snow was hard, I told the guy I had deicer spray in the back on the floor which he didn't use; he tried to pull the wipers out which didn't work and there was snow on the windshield and took off without getting a brush out of the back and brushing the snow off. The appointment was for Friday morning, I wasn't contacted and I had given the Service Department my number, the car was finally returned Monday at noon. The light was out Monday but came back on Tuesday, I was never told where the part was so I don't know if the part was replaced. My understanding as I was a mechanic is that you run a diagnostic to see what the problem is before you replace the part. I made another appointment to see what the problem is an when I got a call I was told that it's going to cost a $165.00 to run a diagnostic which should have been done so I told the Service Department to return my car. (I apologize for using an inappropriate response when I answered the phone and was told that the diagnostic would cost a $165.00 but if it would have been done right there probably wouldn't bee sent out a second time)
