I was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa and reside currently in Sherrand, Illinois with my wife Amber. I graduated from J.D. Darnell High School in Geneseo,IL. and have been in the auto industry since graduating high school in 1986. I became a team member at Zimmerman in 1996 in the detail department and moved to the service department in 2004. After working in service for a year I was promoted to my current position of Service Advisor. I believe in doing business fairly, honestly and with integrity. I am an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoy going to St. Louis to watch games as often as possible. Marty's knowledge and expertise of the models he showed us, made it easy. Marty's patients and professionalism eased the process to making our decision on what vehicle we decided lease. The original reason we were at Zimmerman's to begin with was we brought in my wife's Honda Odyssey for an oil change. We had told Brent Staner , in service dept.that we were thinking of leasing and he referred us to Marty. What a great job both of them did to help us! More

We've had it serviced there and their service dept is awesome. They get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time and, if you wait there, there is a great area with a tv and free snacks. When it was time to purchase another car we knew we had to go back to Zimmermans. Ron Allgood helped us pick out our new car a 2011 Honda CRV. Perfect name for him, as our experience was again "All Good". He answered all our questions, got us a great interest rate at our bank, heck, he even filled our gas tank and washed the car before we left. A big thank you to all the folks at Zimmerman's for the friendly, courteous service. More

I had a very pleasant experience with Zimmerman Honda in Moline, IL. Though they have serviced 3 of my past Hondas (Brent Staner), I had yet to have purchased a vehicle from Zimmerman. I had contacted Zim Moline, IL. Though they have serviced 3 of my past Hondas (Brent Staner), I had yet to have purchased a vehicle from Zimmerman. I had contacted Zimmerman a couple months ago, looking to test drive the redesigned 2013 Civic EX-L with navigation. I also expressed that I was going to sell my vehicle outright myself. Ruth Sanders and Sean Fortin totally understood my financial situation in wanting to sell my vehicle myself. I was not pressured in any sort of way to trade, etc. I was given their business cards and stopped in a couple of times, and they both knew who I was each time I visited the dealership. When I finally sold my vehicle on Aug. 31, I was in need of a vehicle. Zimmerman is within walking distance from where I live. I walked down the hill on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 3, 2013. I negotiated my summer 'clearance' price with Zimmerman. The exterior & interior colors that I wanted was not available locally, so the search was on to find a dealer trade. I was provided with a brand new 2013 Civic to drive until they could locate my vehicle, since I had no vehicle to drive!! I was also pre-approved for .9% financing which is the best interest rate I've ever gotten on a loan. :) My vehicle arrived from the Highland, IN, Honda dealership on Friday, Sept. 6. I had selected many options to be added by the dealership. New tires were negotiated (Gary Ralston) and installed, remote start was added after market, and body guards were installed the next morning. I was able to take possession of the vehicle on Sat, afternoon, Sept. 7. I will return in a couple of weeks to complete the paint/leather protection package, as well as the DiamonFusion windshield treatment. I spoke with the gentleman doing the detailing (Johnny) and was confident in the service that I had purchased. He explained the products they use with the process. Very impressive. My financing experience was also very positive. Ricky Unholz was very accommodating in meeting my needs as a valued customer. Very down-to-earth, professional experience. He was knowledgeable about all the products, licensing, financing, etc. That was the most efficient loan experience I have ever had at a dealership in a new car purchase!! Efficient. I would recommend Zimmerman Honda to anyone searching for a new vehicle. They will be servicing my 4th Honda, too!! :) The new dealership is impressive, the staff is friendly and accommodating (plenty of salespeople to assist you), and the service dept. is top of the line. More
