Disappointing Service Experience at Southern GMC I had a very frustrating experience with Southern GMC’s service department. From the start, communication was lacking. I was contacted by the Service repre a very frustrating experience with Southern GMC’s service department. From the start, communication was lacking. I was contacted by the Service representative a month prior to my appointment that the parts for the recall on my pickup were in and I could come up to have them installed. I made the appointment at the time with the Service rep a month out because I live over 2 hours away and I would be staying in a hotel in the area overnight in order to make my appointment in the early morning. On the morning of the appointment I brought my vehicle in expecting the recall update and 2 other services I included in my appointment when I booked with the representative, I ended up waiting far longer than anticipated with no updates from the staff. My appointment was at 9:00. I attempted to follow up multiple times just to get an update about the status of my vehicle and no one answer the phone or return my messages. I finally had to take an Uber across town to the dealership and at 4:00pm I found that my vehicle had not been serviced. To make matters worse, I was told that the parts needed for the repair were not even in stock. Which I was told over a month ago that they had the part for my specifically which was the reason I made the appointment in the first place. This resulted in even more delays, and no one reached out to let me know what was going on—I was left completely in the dark. Overall, the long wait times, poor communication, and lack of preparation made this a disappointing and stressful experience. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer care from a dealership service center. I traveled from a far distance when I purchased my truck from this dealership 3 years ago. Went to southern kia vb for a tire rotation and alignment. Left after 2 hours with vehicle and discovered the steering wheel off center. The service manager was no help and provided no compensatio alignment. Left after 2 hours with vehicle and discovered the steering wheel off center. The service manager was no help and provided no compensation other than a 60 credit but i do not plan to return to this service center. Gm Brett Lloyd gm wasn't available. After second alignment the steering wheel is still off center. More

The worst experience that I have ever had at any dealership . As a fleet manager I deal with dealers all over the USA . I have been coming here for years. Over the last few years, it has gone downhill. The phone system has been broken for sometime. Mentioned it several times. Diagonostic fee increas Over the last few years, it has gone downhill. The phone system has been broken for sometime. Mentioned it several times. Diagonostic fee increased, credit card fee now imposed????? Most people have to use credit cards due to the costs of repairs. Just because you got a new system, doesnt mean you pass the cost on to the consumer. My last repair, seemed good, after waiting for a shuttle for an hour, after drop off, i ended up taking a lyft. Unfortunately, 3 days after the repair, all my service lights came on, barely driveable. Again, have to take lyft to get home to work and then again once the repairs are complete. The service managers are great. I just think they are overwhelmed and need more help and or training. More
