My name is Brett Mathis. I have been a Service Advisor for over 6 years now and with Ford for 2 years. I really enjoy my job working for Sunset Ford & Ford Motor Company because it is a line of vehicles I most enjoy, especially Mustangs. Mustang are an area I feel most confident in and enjoy helping customers learn and understand what upgrades are most suitable for the customer’s expectations. I personally own 4 fords including a 1951 Ford Tudor. Last year, I became a Master Certified Service Advisor since I have been here with Sunset Ford. I was born and raised in Saint Louis and proud to work for a dealership that has been in business for over 100 years!

The staff in the service department at Sunset Ford were friendly and very helpful with setting up and completing recall work on both of our vehicles. Service writer Bret was very thorough and a good communicator. Car was fixed right and runs perfectly. When the car was dropped off the service, writer walked around the car to look for any existing communicator. Car was fixed right and runs perfectly. When the car was dropped off the service, writer walked around the car to look for any existing damage, which there was none. When I went to pick the car up. There was a dent on the hood that was not there before the car was dropped off. I went back in to the service department to report it and everyone had already went home. I called the next day and left a message and no one returned the call to follow up. I guess I will have the dent fixed myself. Not happy with the outcome. More

Is always backed up. You have to go on a 2-3 week waiting list. No rentals while you wait. I originally went in for a mechanical issue and the service rep made sure that was addressed and also looked up any recalls and promptly addressed that as well. The people are friendly.
