Fantastic Buying Experience! I was shopping around for over 2 weeks for a low mileage used car for my daughter. After surfing the internet, I found a 2011 Toyota Corolla, so I ma I was shopping around for over 2 weeks for a low mileage used car for my daughter. After surfing the internet, I found a 2011 Toyota Corolla, so I made my way out to Gateway Subaru to take a look at the car. Much to my surprise, the car was in excellent shape! A salesperson by the name of Kevin Miller greeted me and we spoke briefly about the car. I mentioned to Kevin that I was working with another salesperson, Magee Sheeler, and Kevin was more than helpful to direct me to Magee. He was very professional and courteous. I was greeted by Magee in the showroom and she offered me the opportunity to test drive the car. She was the consummate professional, courteous and made you feel welcome. I test drove the car and it didn't take me long to make a decision to make the purchase. I made an offer on the car and the negotiating time didn't take long thanks to Brian Kang offering me a fair price. Shook hands and proceeded to meet Wendy Shiavone. Much in the same manner as Magee, she was friendly and professional and make the financing process smooth as silk. I have purchased more cars that I care to count in my lifetime, but I will say that my time with Gateway Subaru ranks in my Top 5 car buying experience. The dealership is top notch and I highly recommend that if anyone is in the market for a Subaru or used car, ask for Magee to assist you in finding the car that's right for you! More

Thank You Magee Sheeler!!!! My husband & I had just started looking for a used BMW and found one online at Gateway Subaru. We contacted Gateway Subaru and spoke with Brian Kang My husband & I had just started looking for a used BMW and found one online at Gateway Subaru. We contacted Gateway Subaru and spoke with Brian Kang and told him we were interested in the BMW and told him we would be down to look at it. Once we arrived at Gateway Subaru the BMW was parked out front. We went inside and met with Brian and he immediately set us up with Magee Sheeler. Magee had parked the car our front in anticipation of our arrival. We then went on a test drive and during the drive Magee let us know about a lot of the features of the car. Once back at the dealership we went inside with Magee to discuss the car and we told her we definitely wanted it with no pressure from Magee to purchase it. Magee was very friendly as well as Brian & Wendy Schiavone. The whole experience at Gateway Subaru was great. Even though this is a Subaru dealership Magee was very well informed about the BMW. The whole process was done in less than 2 hours and we have never experienced that before at any other dealerships. Thanks to a great team. More

I wanted a dependable vehicle that would last more than just a year or two and lastly, I wanted it to be a small SUV. Katie Thatcher met me outside as I pulled into the parking lot. She was very friendly and listened carefully to my needs. Between Katie and manager Brian, they found a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica that exceeded my expectations. WAS IT A DREAM ? My wife and I went to the Delmar Subaru dealership to find a used Toyata Prius that I had noticed driving by a few days prior to our stopping in. We cautiously circled the lot looking for the Prius, hoping to look at it without a salesperson, but it was gone. As we were about to leave we met Magee Sheeler who spoke with us about the Prius being sold the night before. Magee then asked if we would like to see a Subaru and of course I didn't and was ready to go, but my wife said lets see what she has to say, so I reluctantly went along with her. Magee patiently worked with me to find out what I liked and didn't like about each car she showed us. I have long legs so room in a car is very important, I also don't like cars too low to the ground, and so all the while in this adventure Magee educated us with facts about the Subaru line and helped us realize that an Outback would give us exactly what we needed. Magee explained to us how the drive systems work together and showed us all kinds of features about the Outback that I would have never guessed it had. To make a long story short before I knew it I was taking to her manager Brian Kang about my trade-in and getting final numbers. Yes we bought a 2014 Outback with no pressure from anybody. Magee made us feel very comfortable and unpressured to buy, yet we decided to buy in part to such a dreamlike experience with her and other staff. As new owners of a 2014 Subaru Outback my wife and I highly recommend Magee as an outstanding salesperson! If you would like to have a dreamlike experience in buying a car please ask for Magee, you wont be disappointed! Oh by the way Magee has continued to help us with any questions we have had after the sale....truly incredible! We LOVE our new Outback!!! More

I bought my 2014 Subaru Legacy 2.5i this week from Magee Sheeler at Gateway Subaru in Delmar, MD, and it was the most pleasant car buying experience I I bought my 2014 Subaru Legacy 2.5i this week from Magee Sheeler at Gateway Subaru in Delmar, MD, and it was the most pleasant car buying experience I've had to date. I was greeted promptly by the receptionist and referred to Magee in sales. I'm familiar with Subaru as we have an Outback which is my wife's car. Magee promptly offered me a test drive of the Legacy and explained the features to me. She quickly got me an outstanding price on the Legacy, and we negotiated amount for my trade. She introduced me to her Sales Manager Brian Kang and the three of us discussed the deal without any pressure in me. It was more of like a pleasant business meeting at work instead of your typical car buying experience. The deal was great so I quickly agreed to purchase the Legacy and Magee made sure the detail team had it sparkling for pickup. The Financing and paperwork was quick and pleasant with Wendy Schiavone, she showed me the different choices I had without trying to pressure me into anything extra that I didn't want. When it was time to leave, Magee took plenty of time to help me go over on the controls on the car and important parts of the owners manual. She linked my phone up to Bluetooth and even offered to help me move my stuff from my trade in to my new Subaru. She even called my insurance carrier to advise I had switched cars. Top Shelf Dealer We went there looking for a vehicle for my wife. Took 2 test drives. Could not decide between a Forester or an Outback. Went back and told them where I needed to be. They agreed and then we split the cost on a remote start I wanted added on. Deal done. I did not have any pressure on me at any point in the process. Kyle was very kind and patient towards my wife who is from Honduras and that I sincerely appreciated. Everyone there was nice to my wife and I. Thank you. We had bought a pre-owned Nissan Exterra there in 2010 from Brian for my son and it is still running strong. That is one of the reasons we came back there and bought the new car. If this Outback does well, I will be back for vehicles for my daughter and son later on. Financing was a breeze. Just sign and go as I expected. Now waiting for the call to come get the permanent tags and the mail to arrive so we can send in the first payment. Delivery was outstanding. Kyle helped with the programming ( did almost all the work ) of the phone setup[ and did not make us feel like we were imposing on him. Thanks again. Got the SIrius account on other vehicle switched over to Outback so I will not miss a beat when the 4 month free subscription is up. Ed Miller More

My husband had owned a 19 year old Subaru Legacy that was still running when he got rid of it last year and was sold on the idea of getting another Subaru based on its reputation for longevity. My husband and I stopped at Gateway Subaru to look at the 2014 Forester and were greeted at the door by Crystal Collins. She was gracious in offering us refreshments, showing us around the dealership, and introducing us to other Gateway Subaru employees. We test drove a couple different Forester models. Not being sure whether the Forester’s cargo area was large enough for the dog crate, we did not make a purchase that day. At a later date, I stopped by the dealership and with the help of Brian Kang tried a dog crate in the back of the Forester. It turned out that the crate was too large. Crystal, being very knowledgeable in the different Subaru models, led us to looking at the Outback as a better choice for meeting our cargo space concerns. Crystal was able to get us in the Outback Premium with the features I wanted within our price range.The entire sales process was smooth and un-pressured. She has a very warm personality and was a pleasure to work with. She went over all the key features of the Outback and programmed my bluetooth before we left the lot. I highly recommend Crystal Collins to anyone looking for a new or used car. I brought the Outback in for its first scheduled maintenance since the purchase and was very pleased with the service. The wait time was about 30 minutes less than anticipated. Brian greeted me as I walked into the waiting room and asked if I wanted anything to drink, or if I needed a ride. He offered to let me use his car if I changed my mind. I have owned five Nissans. I am sure this is the first of many Outbacks that we will be purchasing and servicing from Gateway Subaru. I am so thrilled with our purchase and can’t believe I waited so long. More
