I'm not from your area and this past Saturday my truck 2023 GMC Serria had an issue with the fuel control module on I-75. I crawled to your dealership service department where I came in contact with service writer Brittnay G. We live in Destin Florida and was trying to get home to see if we had any damage from the hurricane and Brittnay went out of her way to locate us a rental car before the end of the day because it was starting to get late. She didn't stop until she had it all worked out knowing that my truck was not going to get looked at until Monday morning because there was no diesel mechanic working that day. She really put my wife and I at ease and we were able to get home that day. On Monday at approximately 1000 Brittnay called and said my truck was repaired and it was a recall notice that I had just received in the mail the day prior to us departing to south Florida in which stated to make an appointment at our earliest convenience. I stated to my wife that we would make an appointment as soon as we returned from our trip. None the less the part went out in your area. It was a pleasure dealing with Brittnay and your dealership. Even though we had to drive almost five hours back down to pick up my truck. Employees like Brittnay are hard to find these days. You have something special in that young lady. She definitely put us at ease and made me appreciate having a General Motors product.. Please please recognize Brittnay for her outstanding customer service and maintenance skills in any way you can. My car seems to be running well after the repair but it took six weeks and I had to pay $600 despite my extended warranty. After we agreed on the cost it still took three more weeks to do the work. Before the job was done - after my car was with them sitting idle for a month- they said I needed a new battery for $600 and a fix to my battery fuse block for $500. Outrageous prices! I was worried what else they were going to find wrong! Then they cracked my windshield and had to replace it! My battery was still under warranty so I said get it cranked and I'll drive it to the repair shop where I bought the battery. Brittani was helpful and kept me informed. Thankfully she put me in a loaner car when I requested it because I don't know what I would have done otherwise during the lengthy repair process. I have had warranty repair work here in the past but this recent experience makes me not want to return. More
