The vehicle itself is a dream car, absolutely gorgeous and drives so smoothly and fast, handles easily, Ryan's knowledge of this complex machine is encyclopedic, and he made the intro so easy. Ryan and his team were beyond helpful, courteous, professional and even fun. I've been driving for 50 years, and this literally was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Excellent first experience with a dealership When going to a dealership, you come in with all these preconceived notions of them being "pushy" or "working for commission". Brian was the exact opp When going to a dealership, you come in with all these preconceived notions of them being "pushy" or "working for commission". Brian was the exact opposite of these negative assumptions! This was my first time being invested into a dealership, and Brian took the extra time to explain the leasing process (as well as the buying/buyingout process) and answered all my questions promptly. Hyundai Sonata Hybrid ETA: Brian called today to try to offer a solution. While it wasn’t a solution we could use, I appreciate the effort. Casey called and offered another solution that still wasn’t really workable for us. We requested to know what the numbers would like like to upgrade to a model that included satellite radio. Casey quickly came up when the numbers and emailed them. They were super reasonable. We are very happy with the outcome in this situation. While it might not have started out right, they worked to make things right. That is the very definition of good customer service!!! We purchased a 2019 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid on Sunday March 31. We went to look at that vehicle and a New 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport. They claimed to not be able to locate the sport, but it was still showing available on their website a day or so ago. Our salesman said the vehicle was equipped with satellite radio, when asked. There is also a window decal sticker that says it is equipped with satellite radio. There is NO satellite radio in the vehicle. We called to question this and spoke with Pete. He said he would look into it and call back. He did in a very timely manner. He then did more research and called again. This time, the conversation ended with him saying he would have the general manager call us back the following day to tell us the price difference to switch out our vehicle for one that has what they claimed the one we bought had. It has now been over 48 hours. I did have a missed called today with no message telling me who to call back. My husband called and was transferred to Pete's line where he left a message. We did not get a call back. I would not recommend anyone do business with this dealership. I wish I had read the reviews first because it appears they regularly mislead people. More

They were all very through with me on all the details of the car. Whenever I didn't understand how something worked in the car they took the time to explain it to me. Unethical, Subversive tactics with "Bait and Switch" Express Crown Hyundai Hyundai Hyundai Worldwide Today my husband and I began a purchase on your (CROWN HYUNDAI OF ST PETE) express store website. I initiat Crown Hyundai Hyundai Hyundai Worldwide Today my husband and I began a purchase on your (CROWN HYUNDAI OF ST PETE) express store website. I initiated the purchase based on the figures provided on YOUR WEBSITE. These figures involved dealer, financing and Hyundai incentives. The representative Casey contacted my husband to see if he needed anything. They sent the contract on the same car, same VIN same everything and it was over $4000 higher then their website (see picture) had indicated. The quoted payment which had incentives due to expire on 4/1 disappeared. (luckily for me I have screenshots of everything). They literally removed the discounts in the matter of a couple of hours and my payment raised in the neighborhood of $60.00 on a purchase. The "Dealer Discount $4787 just went away it was detailed out on every car I looked at. We are simply sharing our experience with this dealership for you to make an educated decision if you chose to due business with anyone who has such questionable business tactics. It was a true bait and switch. You can buy a car online with them, if they had not interceded, we would have completed the purchase on line. These were their published deals, nothing I made up, nothing I did deceitful. These are subversive tactics and unethical and with any luck illegal. I intend to pursue this to the extent the law allows if for no other reason then to show them that the public will not stand for such unethical and illegal business practices. To be clear this is CROWN HYUNDAI OF ST PETERSBURG FLORIDA. The GM is G.R.Tarr and the Sales Manager assisting is Casey Newman. They had Justin Hoffman email us the new quote, Casey offered an "apology" that the internet pricing was "wrong" (ALL 470 ish Elantras available) YES, we were looking for a deal, Mikes work is an hour away and we wanted something that he could run the wheels off of. This met the mark until the dealer indicated that they misrepresented everything on their website. I am also investigating filing a complain with Florida Attorney General for Consumer Protection, Ashley Moody for deceitful business practices. Mike Swain I am not suggesting anyone NOT do business with Crown, I just suggest you do your due diligence and understand OUR experience. More

Great Experience Working with the Crown Hyundai Team My fiance and I were in the market for two new vehicles and decided to make our way over to Crown Hyundai after receiving a call from Glen Gasbarro (s My fiance and I were in the market for two new vehicles and decided to make our way over to Crown Hyundai after receiving a call from Glen Gasbarro (sales). Glen was very patient with us and went on numerous test drives (5+) to ensure that we both were getting the vehicles we wanted. He explained everything about the vehicles regarding features, updates from previous year models, and main differences between trim levels. Throughout the purchase of our vehicles he made himself available at all times and was extremely responsive to all our inquiries as the exact vehicles we wanted were not readily available at the time. We absolutely enjoyed working Glen and would definitely do business with him again in the future. A few days later we went back to the dealer when the cars were ready to be picked up and were handed off to David Boldin (Finance). David is extremely professional and great at what he does. He explained everything in a detailed manner and was very personable. He was not overly pushy as some folks are when trying to sell products which was an absolute breath of fresh air. David is solid, period. As with all dealers you eventually have to speak with the sales manager, and in this instance it was Casey Newman. Our interaction was short, but pleasant. He was very upfront and honest explaining all the numbers that can sometimes get confusing when purchasing a vehicle. As with the other gentlemen above, Casey was patient and made sure we understood everything before signing any dotted lines. Given my fiance purchased a Genesis and not a Hyundai, we also had to meet with Nick Black. Nick is on top of things and knows his vehicles. He helped both of us set up our Blulink accounts and was very professional from start to finish. He took extra time with my fiance to ensure she knew all the little features and details of the car that are probably overlooked most times. He ensured she was comfortable with everything before handing over the keys. In summary, this team is fantastic. Nobody at the dealership that we encountered seemed overly pushy or said things like, "what is it going to take for you to walk out with this vehicle today?" First time buying a vehicle and actually having a great time doing it. Hats off to the team at Crown Hyundai they are a great team! More

Test Drive Nightmare November 2018 I got an offer in the mail to receive a $40 gift card for doing a test drive. I came in with my offer before Thanksgiving. The offer showed a picture of a real gift card and no mention of an e-card was on the form. If it had said e-card I would not have done the test drive. The test drive went fine. I filled out my paperwork . There was never any mention on that day about an e-card. Here it is March and no card! I have called and was told it was a computer error. I was later told the rules had changed and it had to be an e-card. I was then told I had to re-apply like I was going for a new test drive and use the code I was given in November! I never got a code in November! How do you even use a e-card? Where would you use one? Does it have a barcode? I even mailed two letters to the dealership to try to get this resolved to no avail. Such poor customer service. I did the test drive. I brought in the offer and I filled out the paperwork after the test drive.
