Just beware. The internet price advertised on external websites won’t apply if you bring your own financing. We had financing approved but because we didn’t use Toyota Motor Credit, the price of the car websites won’t apply if you bring your own financing. We had financing approved but because we didn’t use Toyota Motor Credit, the price of the car suddenly went up $6000. Direct quote from Matt: “We can sell our cars for however much we want.” That may be true, but that doesn’t mean you get to use bad business practices and mislead people. When we met with the salesman (Jon R.), he didn’t even give us the numbers he was running through our finance company, just ran it through with the price hiked up and add ons. He also didn’t tell us the value of our trade before running the application through to our lender. He just basically came back and said “Nope.” And then after a call to our finance company, I found out it was because the numbers were much higher than what they were willing to finance the car at. Really disappointed. Past car buying experiences with other dealers have been really good - but not this time with Jerry’s. Salespeople either have poor communication skills or are just smug that buyers are at a disadvantage right now. Chad was the only person there who was even remotely professional and helpful. Will not return to this dealership in the future. More

My first time coming into the store I was ignored for an hour and never seen by the person who was assigned to me. Due to the pandemic and blows to production trying to find the SUV I wanted has been hard. hour and never seen by the person who was assigned to me. Due to the pandemic and blows to production trying to find the SUV I wanted has been hard. I ultimately purchased my SUV with them, but the whole experience gave shady and untrustworthy car salesman vibes. My sales rep Yong He and a manager Chad Votta lied to me about several things throughout the process but luckily I did my research and knew what I was talking about. They purposely show your lowest credit score trying to make the customer think they're credit is worse than what it is. Luckily, I pulled all my information ahead of time and knew where I stood. Even with great credit they were still trying to give me a bad deal and make it seem like I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about concerning the numbers they were giving me. As a black woman with an Accounting degree, I knew better. The only saving grace was the finance director Daniel. The rest of the sales team I dealt with that day treated me as if I wasn't important and incompetent and not like a valued customer. I wouldn't recommend this place especially for black people after my experience. Toyota as a company is great but Jerry's is NOT!!!! More

This dealer embodies every negative stereotype of a car dealer: sleazy sales tactics, sexism, dishonesty and poor customer service. Good car horrible service Great car, but subpar service. Let me start by saying that I love my vehicle. I purchased a 2016 Toyota Prius with literally all of the features tha Great car, but subpar service. Let me start by saying that I love my vehicle. I purchased a 2016 Toyota Prius with literally all of the features that I wanted in a car. The problem arose when I attempted to gain information on "fees" that I was charged by the dealership. Make a long story short, I called the dealership trying to obtain a breakdown on the fees that I was charged and I was met with so much resistance. It was honestly a negative vibe at one point. The salesman assured me that certain fees were eliminated for my transaction. All I was trying to was find out what fees were eliminated and what fees were charged. After communicating with the sales person again, I decided to ask for a manager. And this is where things get really awkward....there seemed to be a communication breakdown between me and the manager, but I was never disrespectful in the conversation. I was talking very calm, and just trying to honestly get down to the bottom of the situation. After the manager tells me that is it company policy not to disclose the fee information, he says to me "I'm trying to be polite about this". This is where I was completely blown away and felt disrespected. If I am being a calm customer with legitimate questions, why would you be anything other than polite to me? Why would you have to "TRY" to be polite. I have been in customer service for close to 20 years and been doing tech support for almost 10 years. Telling a customer that you are "trying to be polite" should be unacceptable under any circumstances. Another thing that really upset me when speaking with the manager is that he kept saying to me "You signed the contract!", as if I was asking him to make changes to the contract. Once again, kind of disrespectful, because I am asking for a breakdown of pricing, not a change or amendment. There is no need to keep reminding me that I signed a contract, when all I am doing is asking for a breakdown of each item that I paid for. Imagine going to the supermarket and getting receipt that just had the total......and then the cashier getting mad at you because you are asking for information on how much you were charged for each item. There were other issues dealing with this location as well. When I originally went to the dealership, I was quoted $1500 for a trade in, but on purchase day, the salesman tried to change it to $1200. They gave me the original $1500 after I said no to the deal. Also, I was told over the phone that my interest rate was 4.5%. However, when I received my paperwork, I had an interest rate of 5.45%. When I asked about this change, I was told that the 4.5% must have been an estimation, because only the finance department can give an actual quote. I will admit, at the end of the conversation, the manager agreed to disclose the fees that I was charged, but that still does not change my perception of this location. I hope the management can use this as a learning experience. Never use phrases like "I am trying to be polite" with a person that is spending there hard earned money with your location. Using phrases like that is completely disrespectful, and goes against offering quality customer service. More

Buyer Beware, internet request for pricing $17203, price after tax tags etc, $20800. Tax 17203 x 6% = $1033 dealer claims $1157. Tags/transfer $757 Total $1759. When I asked about the difference of $18 after tax tags etc, $20800. Tax 17203 x 6% = $1033 dealer claims $1157. Tags/transfer $757 Total $1759. When I asked about the difference of $1838 I was told it was delivery and destination fees. Then the sales manager says that price was only for Maryland Residents. Why did Jerry’s Toyota email me with that price when you have to put your zip code in to get the quote? Watch your money if your going to deal with these folks. More

Mr Hamid Daday change numbers to benefit himself. He’s a liar and he falsified numbers to make a deal. He’s a liar beware he’s not truthful. My payment was $488 with extended warranty and gap. Once I got to liar and he falsified numbers to make a deal. He’s a liar beware he’s not truthful. My payment was $488 with extended warranty and gap. Once I got to him he lied and said that the warranty wasn’t included which took my price over $500. Found out later that he upgraded my warranty to benefit himself and blamed it on the sales people. I told him I didn’t have money down ended up paying money to drop the payment. The price I signed for initially wasn’t honored and all he could do is keep saying you made a great deal and God bless you. It’s sad how he took advantage of me and lied to get the sale. Please don’t use him. I would recommend Candace Jordan and Chad but Mr. Hamid no way he really needs to be honest with people and not lie and change numbers for his financial benefit. He wanted to not extend my payment grace period to lower the payment to the original monthly payment never taking ownership for his mistake and lowering something on his side to get the payment back to the original quote I signed for. He wouldn’t budge although it was his fault he was about the money not about the satisfaction of the customer. But I guess upgrading my warranty without my permission is ok and then lie about it. Update 01/172020 found out today that Mr. Hamid changed my interest rate unknowingly to the bank that financed my loan. He added additional points or what they called a fee that they could add to a vehicle that is not pre owned and certified what the heck that means I don’t know. This fee or points etc changed my interest rate and it only benefited the finance department but raised my interest rate and ultimately it would have changed my payments and added more than $2000 overall. If it wasn’t for someone being honest at the banking institution I would have never known. This has probably been done to others presently and in the past. Manager Chad took care of my situation and I appreciate that but that does not negate the fact that Mr. Hamid changed my interest rate to a higher rate and passed that paperwork off to the bank and lied about it. He was willing to put me in a financial strain for his own gain. Read your paperwork and ask if they have the right to raise interest rate if a car is not pre owned and certified. More
