Each person you encounter, from the moment you walk in the door, is courteous, professional, eager to help in any way you need. When purchasing a car, the sales managers LISTEN to what you want, whether it is advice or a particular car. There is no attempt to lead you in a direction you do not want to consider, although each person you work with is willing to discuss options and alternatives. When it comes to service, you are told what your car needs -- not what the business needs -- and you're also told when you need it. If you bring in your car for service and an item will be okay for another 6 mos., they tell you and let you choose whether or not to take care of the issue in the present or future. Quite extraordinary! In sales, whether new or pre-owned, if you need a few days or even weeks to think, when you return you are welcomed back as a friend. Again, quite extraordinary! More

Very polite and friendly. I can tell their goal is to make a customer happy, they try to satisfy all your needs and expectation. Extremely honest managers. Each time I was at Wellesley Toyota, I was tremendously impressed with the "vibe" My son bought a used Highlander there; my daughter, a plug-in Prius. Each time I was at Wellesley Toyota, I was tremendously impressed with the "vibe" of the place. The sales manager, Chris Davey, runs a great operation. Unlike in most dealerships, where you're immediately approached by a sales person, and then ultimately he/she has to disappear and check with the sales manager, you start with the sales manager. (At least that's what happened when I was there.) He then helps you pick the car(s) to drive and assigns you a young "product specialist" to assist you on the test drive. They are very well trained/informed and don't try to "sell" you anything. They genuinely want to know how YOU feel, what YOU want to know, what YOUR concerns are, etc. The overall experience: this is the kind of environment you would create if you were in the car business. You walk in the door and are greeted by Connie, who couldn't be nicer, more friendly and welcoming. The showroom is bright, modern, clean and comfortable. They don't treat you like a customer, more like a friend who's trying to help a friend make the right decision. In other words, no pressure. You really get the feeling that "these people are going to take good care of me." More

Chris Davey is excellent to work with. As a single female, I have not had the best experiences dealing with cars (sales or service). I leased a car from Chris Davey last month and he is by far the BE female, I have not had the best experiences dealing with cars (sales or service). I leased a car from Chris Davey last month and he is by far the BEST! I visited a few other dealerships and never felt comfortable or fully trusted that the salesmen offering deals that were best for me. In fact, Chris Davey offered a package that was so much cheaper for the same car than any of the other dealers I spoke with Chris was so easy to work with! He really knows everything about leasing and buying. I was not sure if I should buy the car I was leasing at the end of my lease, buy a new car, or if I should lease a new car. Chris carefully and patiently explained the new lease, advantages of buying my car, buying a new car, or leasing a new car and never pushed me one way or the other. When asked, he told me what he thought was best for me and carefully explained why. He answered all the questions I had and never grew impatient with me. He told me to take my time until I knew what I wanted to do. He told me that I could extend my leave for up to six months if I needed more time to decided what I wanted to do. I looked at a few different models and he ran numbers for me on each model I looked at. Again he was informative patient, kind, and caring. He truly wanted me to do what was best for me. He offered me the best deal (I got quotes from other dealerships for the same car). He gave me his cell number in case I needed to reach him with any questions. I had many questions and again he was so patient, professional and courteous. He never called me to push me into anything. I did lease a new car and am very happy that I did. I will go back and work with Chris again and highly recommend his to anyone looking to purchase. He is honest, very knowledgeable, kind, professional, and truly cares about what is best for the customer. Additionally, you will probably get the best deal from Chris! More

I highly recommend Wellesley Toyota after recently purchasing a new car from them. My car buying experience was great right from the start. I found a new Prius-C on their website that I was interest purchasing a new car from them. My car buying experience was great right from the start. I found a new Prius-C on their website that I was interested in, so I requested a quote online. I worked with Internet Salesman Corey Clement by email and he was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I met with Internet Sales Manager Josh Cohen at the dealership, and found him very pleasant to work with as well. I never felt pressured into anything and they did not use sales "tactics" that I have encountered at other dealerships. The whole process went smoothly and I did not have to sit around waiting at all, as I have at other dealerships. Product Specialist Cody accompanied me on the test drive and explained all the features on the car and how to operate them. He is very friendly, knowledgable, and a wicked cool guy! Lastly, I worked with Chris Davey on the financing and he helped me through the application process. He briefly mentioned some extras that could be purchased but did not try to talk me into anything when I declined. I was treated as a valued customer by every staff member and am very pleased with my experience. More

I liked Larry (and I really liked the receptionist), but some of the first words out of Chris's mouth overstated the car's MPG. This never happened, and I ended up traveling several hours by bus and foot to get to the dealership. More

Met with Chris Davey in our search for a used car. Chris walked us through the various options, really listened. He showed a number of options and was very patient with us. We had a 3 month old baby with us (and all the gear), and was not phased while we buckled car seat in, loaded up the stroller, and test drove the cars. At the end of the ordeal, he ran numbers when we asked him to (not when he wanted to close the deal), and then was not only understanding, but encouraging when we wanted the night to sleep on it. Even after we were sold on a price and financing option he found us a better rate. Always responsive and helpful over the phone we hope we can work with him again. More

This was the easiest and best time we had buying a car in our forty years of experience in car buying. First, we did our research online to find out a fair price for our 2011 Highlander. We got some prices over the internet and we answered back that all were higher than what we were thinking. Josh got back to us pretty quickly and asked us what exactly we were looking for. He found us a vehicle that had a few more extras than what we were looking for but close to our target price. Close enough that we agreed to look at the car. We made an appointment to look over the car. When we got there we spoke to Chris, the floor salesman, who showed us the vehicle and explained every nook and cranny about the car. He was thoroughly knowledgeable and answered every question we had. He even helped us to program our phones to the Bluetooth when we picked up the car. We talked to Courtney, the business manager, about different options for the car: warranties, protective coatings. Due to the computers and electronics in the car, we were interested in getting an extended warranty and purchased it at a price we were comfortable with. The car was delivered by the time they said it would be ready. They already scheduled our first check up for us. There was never any pressure tactics to buy anything we didn’t want or any changes made to anything we discussed. I had a great experience at Toyota of Wellesley! As a young, single woman looking to buy a car, I had been apprehensive about visiting dealerships since I had heard horror stories of high-pressure salesp young, single woman looking to buy a car, I had been apprehensive about visiting dealerships since I had heard horror stories of high-pressure salespeople and unseemly sales tactics. Before going to Toyota of Wellesley, I had visited several other dealerships in the area where I was either ignored or met with dishonest salespeople. Then I read the positive reviews of Toyota of Wellesley online and decided to visit and am so glad I did. The reviews don't lie! I am extremely pleased at the service I received at Toyota of Wellesley from the first moment I walked into the dealership to the moment when I drove off in my "new to me" 2010 Toyota Corolla! There is a relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere at this dealership and they treat their customers with respect. I arrived at the dealership a few minutes before they were scheduled to open, hoping to do some browsing, but also with the specific car I wanted in mind. I was met by Chris Davey, who inquired about which used car I was looking for. I said that I was looking for a Toyota Corolla LE in either silver or gray. We went into his office to look at some options. There were a few that were available and we went to the lot to take a look at them. I decided to test drive a silver Toyota Corolla. I liked the car but said that I would be back because I wanted to show the car to my mother. Chris offered to let me drive the Corolla by myself to my mother's house to let her see it. I was impressed by the level of trust the dealer gives to its customers. We returned to the dealership a few hours later and discussed the price. After some discussion (but no pressure), they honored the internet ad price where I initially found the car, which was $1000 less than the price listed on the dealer's website. All in all, I feel I got the car for a fair price, including my trade-in. And I was even able to pick up my car the next day! I'm very happy with everyone I dealt with at this dealership, from the salesperson, to the manager, to the finance person. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or pressured. I came back a few days later for my scheduled state inspection, and that process was fast and easy - I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Another reviewer mentioned the quality of the used cars at this dealership, and I have to agree. This dealership has better quality used cars than most, many of them in in excellent, nearly-new condition with very low miles. For those who dread the thought of stepping into a dealership, I highly recommend Toyota of Wellesley for a no-hassle, enjoyable car shopping experience. I will definitely be recommending Toyota of Wellesley to my friends and family, and I will be back! More
