I was born and raised in Elgin, Illinois. I moved to Tucson in 1978 and graduated from Canyon Del Oro High School. I attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. I began my automotive career in 1993. I have been selling Subaru's locally since 2000. I enjoy spending free time with my family and friends.

I bought my 1st Subaru and it was a nice experience I drove from Phoenix to Tucson, for 2 reasons. First and foremost I felt no pressure from Chris Smith (My contact over there) He was fine with the fa I drove from Phoenix to Tucson, for 2 reasons. First and foremost I felt no pressure from Chris Smith (My contact over there) He was fine with the fact that it may take a few weeks before I went to look at the car. And didn't insist (like the dealers in my area) for me to provide a phone number, and get harassed with special deals, etc. Oh yeah I did say 2 reasons, the 2nd they had the exact model of car I wanted, with the color I wanted. I was anxious to drive off the lot in my new car and Chris expedited the process so I could start driving my WRX sooner. His knowledge about the car was fantastic and he answered all my questions. He was very professional and respectful. Louie Ascencio was very easy to work with and helped me chose optional extras for my new WRX. She said she would call you and never did nor did she come back to me to say whether you were in. While we were looking over the lot no one even approached us. We were looking around for at least 30 minutes. frankly have never been to a dealership where we were not approached to see if we needed any help . We left disappointed by the customer service. I did see a few sales people standing around and cant believe the that the front desk girl wouldn't let us know if you were in or not and if you weren't wouldn't have gotten someone else to help us. I would have expected a lot more. I will forward this to your owner because I cant believe this is how he would want a potential customer to be treated.' More

Don't go anywhere else to buy a Subaru, or a car even After a fender bender put my Acura SLX out of commission I was not inclined to even buy a new car. A few months later I thought I might just go look at some Subaru's as I had had two previously. Trent Nichols was assigned to help me and before he even started to try and sell me he asked questions about my previous car, what I liked and did not like about it, the color, seats and everything else. Then he asked about my driving habits and those of my husband who would be driving the car sometimes as well. He told us he would be right back and when he came back he asked me to go for a test drive. It was a Tungsten Steel Subaru Outback with cloth seats and sunroof. I drove around a few blocks and came back in to tell my husband this was the car I wanted, no need to drive anything else. Trent just knew the exact car that would be right for me by simply asking questions before trying to sell me. More

Took the Worry Out of Car Buying I will admit that I wasn't looking forward to the process of testing driving cars, hearing sales pitches, potentially feeling pressured, and dealing w I will admit that I wasn't looking forward to the process of testing driving cars, hearing sales pitches, potentially feeling pressured, and dealing with paperwork transfer if I did purchase a vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Tucson Subaru,and left with a new Subaru that I love. Tucson Subaru, overall, is very pleasant, low-key, and has lots of amenities for people both shopping or waiting for vehicle services. I had Chris Smith for my sales representative, and he was extremely patient, answering all my questions and allowing all the time I needed to feel comfortable with the vehicles I was considering. I was surprised by the amount of help offered, including taking care of the motor vehicle department's title transfer notice. All I needed to do once leaving the lot with my new car was contact my insurance company. I also worked with Tim Hanson on paperwork after I decided to purchase my Subaru, and Tim gave good advice on how to best protect my investment. At no time did I feel pressured into purchasing anything. So, in summary, the "scary car-shopping" experience I had dreaded turned out to be an educational and enjoyable experience, and I don't regret my decision to purchase my Subaru. More
