I believe Westside Lexus is overall a good dealership and I am happy with the car I bought from them. However, there was a fiasco with financing. I was told a 0.9% financing was available on the car I was bu I am happy with the car I bought from them. However, there was a fiasco with financing. I was told a 0.9% financing was available on the car I was buying. However, it turns out the salesman made a mistake in offering me a promotion that was not available on the year car that I was buying. The finance department missed it and I went through the complete finance process and did not find out until the next day when I was on my way to pick up the car that they were unable to provide the financing at the rate promised. I consider this a very important detail that the financing person should not have missed. So, while I fault the salesman for misinterpreting the promotion (I do not believe he did this intentionally), to me there’s no excuse for financing to have missed it and not corrected it at the time. Christian, the finance manager got involved and eventually they found me A loan at the best rate available at the time and negotiated a lower price on the car to make up the difference in the financing cost. However, the overall experience was frustrating and very unpleasant due to this mistake. As much as I like the car I bought, The whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth. Since I have many years left on my warranty, I’m hoping and expecting that my service experience will be better. More
