My car began to fail before i owned it 2 months. First the tire, then usb outlets, then spark plugs, then catalytic converter, (I think) im loosing track. I'm am still working with this dealership on this issue. Jacob and Tony were WONDERFUL when i bought the car. When the car statred having issues, there availability and responses become less than wonderful. No input or compassion was disappointing as i wasnt sure how to move forward. Sonce then, Nate, Mick and Corey, have been nice to work with. I trust they are doing what they can. However my initial experience was sub par. When I called the dealership to inquire about my car dying in the middle of a Columbus highway, the customer rep referred to the "as is" warranty I signed. My sons are fine, by the way, (even though you nevet asked). I concede, the "as is" covers the dealerships xxx. However, does integrity mean nothing? What about the brand? The reputation? Even IF a dealership owes you nothing. Should there not be interest or compassion for the customer who is screwed? My 18yr old son was driving with his 3 younger siblings. The car FAILED on a freeway. There was no powering steering to navigate easily to the side. I was told " the alternator isn't a safety issue",so besides the "as is warranty", it isn't part of a pre inspection before the car goes to the lot. I adamantly disagree that the alternator failing isnt safety related, it put my family in jeapordy. When it comes time for my six (mostly grown) children yo begin purchasing cars. The dealerships Integrity will be top on my list. More

Purchased a 2017 Volkswagen GTI from Ken Ganley Kia about 5 months ago, they sold me the car with problems. Car was shaking and making noises. The shaking was coming from the engine obviously. It took 1 mont 5 months ago, they sold me the car with problems. Car was shaking and making noises. The shaking was coming from the engine obviously. It took 1 month for the car to get looked at by someone they sent me to, then my car sat on that lot for 1 week while i was struggling to find a ride to work. I then got upset and asked Ken Ganley kia why it was taking so long. They told me that the other dealership was having staffing issues. Why would they send me to a dealership that can’t service my car when i had an appointment? Not to mention that dealership they sent me to was a VW dealer, so they specialized in my car. All they did was diagnose my car. They told me it was something to do with my timing chain or engine and possibly my engine mount. They then sent me to another shop that worked on german cars. Never gave me a receipt or anything that showed they worked on my car there. They put in a new engine mount. That was never the problem because a week after the part was installed my car was still shaking and making noise. Now i contacted the dealership and told them my car broke down and my engine will not start. I get power to evething so it’s something with the engine or transmission. They won’t do anything cause my warranty is apparently expired but they are the ones who took forever to get my car actually fixed. I’m very disappointed in ken ganley volkswagen dealership. More

Wrote a review on how unhappy I was with Ken Ganley Kia of mentor but took it down because the manager did try to work with me after I wrote the review and several phone calls. Well worst mistakes I ever m of mentor but took it down because the manager did try to work with me after I wrote the review and several phone calls. Well worst mistakes I ever made! Drove the sportage for 30 days and the engine locked up on me. ( a problem Kia was aware of so I felt the car shouldn't even of been on there lot for sale) So after waiting 3 months for a new engine to come which was ordered by Ganley Kia, they sent the wrong engine. So I guess I'll be waiting forever for this car to get back on the road while I continue to make payments on a vehicle I can't drive! So from the day I purchased this car and drove it off the lot on 7/15/22 to today 10/20/22 I am still very, very unhappy. Stay away from Ken Ganley Kia of Mentor Ohio More

Service doesn’t stand behind the work they performed, did a 25 point safety check , horn doesn’t work ,seat belt broken. . New tires installed pressure sensor not reinstalled light is on constantly.. was to a 25 point safety check , horn doesn’t work ,seat belt broken. .
