Was in need of immediately purchasing used car for our daughter due to an at fault driver totaling her vehicle. Attempted to work with multiple dealerships in the Charleston Area, only to be increasingly frustrated (its on the lot...make appointment to see it, show up and its suddenly sold, although the dealership claims they placed hands on the vehicle 2 hours ago...but they are more than happy to show you something different at a higher price (happened twice), the online advertised price doesnt include the lo jack, paint / fabric protection plan that you must buy, must finance, or have a trade to get the advertised price, etc, Enter Starling Chevrolet in Mt P. They had a couple vehicles we were interested in. I called and talked to Cornelius, he assured me the vehicles were on the lot, and there were not any dealer adds, or contingencies to the advertised price. Made appointment to take a look at a couple vehicles we were interested in. Initially worked with Justin, and then with Jarrett. 100% satisfied. No pressure at all, take your time looking things over, take all the time you need on a test drive, answered all of our questions, and promptly provided competitive OTD pricing on the 2 cars we were interested in. After visiting Starling Chevrolet, made the mistake of driving across town to look at another car with the typical dealer antics (car had been on lot for 3 months and they were not budging on price, and had $2000 worth of addons to their advertised price). Needless to say we returned to Starling a couple hours later to make our purchase from them. Again, Jarrett who sold us the car, Justin who initially helped us out, Rich the sales Manager, and Cornelius who we initially talked to and ended up being our finance manager made things very easy, transparent, and they didnt play games. I can only speak to buying used cars based on our experience, but if they have a car on the lot you are interested in, you need to go there. More
